Although I see that most of the feedback on here is positive, I just can't help but disagree. I first saw the trailer and I completely fell in love with it, and it was on my PTW list for much longer than it should have. I obsessed over watching it ages but I just couldn't find the time. I am saddened to have to admit that I was VERY disappointed after actually watching it. 1) SLOOOOOOOOW start- I can usually get over this if the rest of the movie makes up for it, but in this case I can't say it did... 2) Plot- OKAY. The plot (or at least the main idea of it) was quite original and pure. I really, really loved it, but I don't think it lived up to its potential... The movie lacked something. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something was missing; it just seemed incomplete. 3) Acting- It was great and I can't complain. Loved everyone. 4) Ending- SO, SO, SO, SO disappointing. Sometimes the ending can make up for the rest, but YET AGAIN, it failed to do so. Overall thoughts; I liked the movie for its originality and emotion but I feel that it lacked action and depth. The idea was there, but it wasn't presented in a successful manner.
