Review based on episodes 1 and 2 A reasonably good man turning bad for revenge against a woman who betrayed him, it's not a story that hasn't been told before. As a matter of fact, I find that a lot of Korean dramas add the element of revenge as one of the leading principles behind someone's character. What is it then that sets this drama apart from those other dramas? So far, nothing really. What this drama misses (so far) is that extra spice that will make me continue watching it till the end. For some, that extra spice is undoubtedly the handsome Song Joong ki. His acting abilities are okay, but is an "okay" acting and a handsome face enough to keep me watching? The only thing, or person, that makes this drama that little bit more exciting is Park Si yeon. There's something about her way of acting out emotions that comes across as incredibly realistic, something that I've rarely seen from Korean actresses. She has a very mature aura around her, something that, unfortunately, Moon Chae won (the other lead character)lacks. I've seen tons of dramas that starred MCW and I must say that, despite reasonably good performances, she still misses that credibility that sets good actresses apart from believable ones. And it's the latter that really make me stick to a drama.
