I watch it after the drama so maybe a little bit unfair. Character in the drama get lots of emotion and the chemistry are great. But with lots of story in the drama, this movie didn't get enough time to tell it all.
Honestly, I think if I didn't watch the drama first, I'll get confused by it's story. Why? Because it starting the story in the middle of the drama.
Chemistry between the character are good. Yang yang is great but when Bai Qian call him Ye Hua, I still thought of Mark Chao.
