I definitely liked this season more than second but season 1 is still my fave I'm afraid overall I don't think I can rate it higher than 7.

The one major issue I have with Voice is the lack of villain's screen time. It makes for a very average viewing.

Merely prolonging the case making the villain appear at the end after the countless episodes of only their "shadow" then however you deal with them makes it unsatisfactory.

That's my biggest gripe with the show.

Otherwise this season had a lot of gore and angst way more emotional than the second one.
