terrible writing

So far the mystery aspect has been pretty good but the overall writing of the show is some of the worst I've ever seen. The main characters are seemingly going out of their way to act either intentionally stupid, or like they want the main antagonist to kill them.

The ML gives overwhelmingly credible evidence to the police force who seem to be staffed by brainless idiots and they simply disregard it. No reason behind it they just disregard it, and because of that people die. Not for any particular rhyme or reason but just because...

Not only that the FL supposedly witnesses a murder and just doesn't remember it? and then a bunch of other witnesses that also saw the same murder just start coming out of the woodwork and dying?

It's intentionally lazy writing.

seriously lacks

The next paragraph completely spoils this entire series. stop reading now If you haven't finished.

It's entire series is killed by the penultimate episode. The main villain is pinned with over several thousands of pounds of concrete but in the span of 15 seconds despite literally on the verge of being crushed to death he's able to completely unpin himself, find a shotgun, and shoot the FL... Of all the things I've ever seen in a k-drama this is the thing that makes the least sense of anything I've ever seen.

It completely ruined the entire series and any enjoyment I got out of it. There's still over an hour left of this series and I don't want to watch it now because of the god awfully bad writing that I just witnessed.

you'll miss absolutely nothing if you skip this series, and frankly it's simply not worth it.
