Smartly written, terrific cast, realistic medical drama/comedy that I thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend. The four leads in this drama are first rate and you'll fall in love with them all. So sad when you come across a drama that touches as this one did when it has to end. I'll miss all my fiends in the ER.

Best. Drama. Ever. The writing was the most concise and moving. The love story the most convincing. The humor was top notch and clever (Jun Ji Hyun was the funniest female character in a drama I've seen). The chemistry was unmatched. The couple the most adorable. The consistently excellent plot line and dialog never wavered. The love between Min Joon and Song Yi was palpable. Each episode grew the relationship and was thoroughly convincing. The writers didn't hold back on the emotions growing stronger and pulling us into those emotions.

There were so many clever dialog scenes at the end of each episode where the protagonists spoke directly to us that helped us understand something that had happened within the episode. They were wonderfully illuminating, funny or maybe even sad but it was those kind of touches that made this drama special, with a pinch of added flavor which will make it hard to forget. Everything about it felt like steak over other K-dramas hamburger.

There have been quite a few stellar K-dramas lately, "I Need Romance 3," "Heirs," Emergency Couple" to name a few. But if I'm pointing an interested party toward their first K-Drama, this is the one. This one will hook them, reel them in and have them coming back for more. I really believe this one sets a new benchmark for other dramas to reach for. Everyone involved in K-drama world, you've been put on notice. "You Who Came From the Stars" has upped the ante and we are all spoiled now.

Good drama with two actors you can never regret investing time in.....Lee Bum Soo and Kim Ha Neul. One thought about this drama though. I've never watched a drama where I thought the subtitles weren't complete until this one. It was weird, it was apparent throughout the drama that a lot more was being said then what was interpreted in the subs. Was a little frustrating because it felt the like subtitlers were being a little lazy in catching the entire nuance of the dialog. Don't let that scare you off of this drama however as I still enjoyed it immensely and it's a good look inside what the making of a drama is like (a little more dramatically than reality I'm sure) but still interesting.

Fast and funny. Never a dull moment. If you like clever humor with your action this one is for you. Lee Bom Soo is terrific as a modern day Robin Hood descendant from a long line of righteous thief's. Its a family business and Dad, Mom and little brother pitch in upping the hilarity. Lee SI Young will have you laughing as the obsessive girlfriend. If your looking for a movie that doesnt take itself to seriously while still having a great action story, kick back and enjoy Descendants of Hong Gil Dong.

I love Korean dramas and of the 46 I have watched to date this is the only one I didn't care for. It started out fine but quickly became an unbearable repetitive plot line involving more verbal and mental abuse of any show I've ever seen, K-drama or otherwise. I lost track of the bickering and insults hurled between the two leads show after show. Especially by Young Jae (Rain) toward the lovely leading lady Hye Kyo (Han Ji Hun). Not in the typical good natured K-drama way, but in a very bitter way. I've always been puzzled at the popularity of this drama given the depressing nature of the relationship portrayed here. Had to fight through to finish this and while the ending was satisfying still not sure it was worth enduring the hours of frustrating dialog.
