When I saw the first trailer a year ago I really excited for this . My excitement increased even more with the second trailer. I’m a sucker for fake dating tropes and I just really liked the dynamic between Bright and Win

Going more into the show:

- Episode 1 - 10: amazing!! I loved the direction of the story. I loved how they set up the fake dating storyline. Yes it was not the most original but I enjoyed it. I love how they showed Tine coming to terms with his feelings. I loved the addition that Sarawat liked him from the beginning (yes I know people who read the book knew this but I hadn’t read the book so it was interesting to find out). I love that Sarawat always respected Tine. He never pushed Tine to do anything he was uncomfortable with and gave him space when needed. He allowed Tine to feel what he feels on his own terms. I just loved everything about these two in the ten episodes.

- Episode 11: This is where I felt the quality went down a bit. It was a mess and it literally could have been an episode that was removed entirely. BUT part 4 saved this episode. Part 4 felt like the same quality level of episode 1-10. It was great seeing everything from Sarawats perspective. But I would have liked it more if there was a hug or kiss

-Episode 12: I don’t even know what happened here. Honestly though, I think in my opinion Sarawat was getting a lot of hate and some was not valid. Sarawat did care for Tine in multiple occasions. He asked Tine multiple times if he is okay and would take care of him. Yet Tine wouldn’t answer him properly. Yes, he had insecurities and those were valid but honestly with the way they set up the episodes the flow was not correct. There was so much Sarawat did to prove he loves Tine. Part 4 in episode 11 sealed the deal. If they had done in after this episode or during this episode, Tine’s feelings would have made a bit more sense to me. So overall this episode just made no sense to me.

Episode 13: Again, I don’t even know what to say. Man and Type were literally the reason the episode got saved. This was a finale episode..It should have been about Sarawat and Tine. They should have wrapped the other two couples in the last episode or something or given one more episode. Sarawat and Tine hardly had any scenes and even when they did it fell flat. You are telling me Sarawat wasn’t even in the hospital worried about Tine? How does this make any sense? They kept showing Sarawat being upset but we don’t even get a scene with him and Tine talking about this? We finally get a reconciliation and it’s lack lustre? Also don’t even get me started with the bro high five. Honestly if they had just solved the issue by part 3 and had a cute reconciliation with the fast forward scenes showing Sarawat and tine building as a couple I would have loved the finale. That is literally what I needed. More of them looking in love.

I’m not sure if they are going to planning to do a season 2. Regardless of the last two episodes they still gained a lot of hype. If they do plan on doing a season 2, I really hope they take all the comments into consideration and work on fixing the issues. I do agree Bright needs to work on his acting a bit but I also feel that Win can work on certain areas as well. But they will get there. Look at where Tay started to what he is now. It takes time. I don’t know what happened to the chemistry also in the last two episodes. It seems they filmed these scenes earlier than the rest. That was definitely a mistake because it takes away the enjoyment of the show.. I just think the hype wasn’t as high for me in the last two episodes than the previous episodes before.

Overall though, I loved this show for 85% of the time. It made my Friday’s better and I looked forward to watch the episode each week. Episodes 1-10 were done so well and that is what I’m going to remember the show for. I’m glad this show introduced me to Bright and Win and I look forward to more projects with them together and individually.
