I like sci-fi dramas, I love thriller mysterious dramas and I'm a passionate of sci-fi/thriller/romance dramas (like Healer). But, even so, I haven't watched this drama earlier (although it was in Netflix) because of Go Ah Ra. Finally, I had some free time and I told myself I couldn't dislike her so much as in Hwarang, and I started Black.
Then, the pluses and minus of this:

Story:
+ Loved it... so many twisted sides of the story, so many discoveries... really good. Even if there were some things difficult to understand if you didn't concentrate on it, at the end it was as a puzzle where all the pieces fit in.
- Sometimes it get messy. Some things weren't enough explained (and there were two many long corean names to follow up...). Sometimes it seemed as police officers (and the main leads) were really stupid, and then - overall in the last two episodes - were super smart and they could figure out everything right away.
The romance was nonexistent and completely bland, and it would be better if there was no romance at all, because, except for the ending's purpose, I have the feeling it didn't add anything to the plot.
The ending: the best option is not to see the last 10 minutes of the 18th episode. You will be fine or better like this. This last 10 minutes are really silly and does not add anything useful to the drama.

Acting:
+ First time I see Song Seung Heon, and I loved his acting, being able to do so good in two completely different characters. I loved the two Grim Reapers who were with him all the time - they were funny - , and Crazy Dog and the police officers team. Lee Ei's acting as Kim Sun Young was fine too, and I liked the role of Oh Man So, although his development could have been better.
- Unfortunately, I didn't like at all Go Ah Ra character. She was a crying baby all along the drama (as she was in Hwarang). When the character wanted to seem brave, in fact she was stupid (facing serial killers alone without telling anybody? OMO!), and these moments were the only ones were she was not depressed, sad, crying or hesitating what to do with her ability. I really didn't see any development in her character, and I don't know if it's her bad acting or if the director asked her to act as in her previous roles... The only time I liked her was in the videoclip she did with Super Junio Kyuhyun in Switzerland (perhaps because she didn't need to talk?). Anyway, the love story seriously lacks chemistry or contact or everything else... although I have to admit I did prefer the time when she wasn't on screen, so I didn't miss so much the romance part.

Music: I like the 3!!! songs.

Rewatch value: noooo... I don't think I could stand to see the female lead pouting and crying again. Nevertheless, I'm going to see more Song Seung Heon and Choi Ran's (the screenwriter) dramas/films for sure.

I've already seen lot of k-dramas, but I admit that this one was special, really different from other dramas. It talks about a earthquake in Seoul and at the same time it doesn't. It's much more than that. It's about people, normal people and how they would react if a disaster would happen.
At the beginning I wasn't sure if I would like it, because I couldn't imagine how they were going to deal with the result of a earthquake for 20 episodes, but at the end I liked it. It's not perfect, there are lots of flaws, but it's ok. Nevertheless, it could have been better with 15 episodes or less, not 20.
Story: I liked the fact that character's behavior, facing a big disaster, is completely different from any american show, where everybody is nice and have a huge heart to help others (and at the same time it's so unrealistic...). Always there will be good people and bad people, and theirs qualities (good or bad) come to light even more in difficult times as a earthquake, and this is something we can clearly see in D-Day. In this drama, people it is what it is.
On the other hand, this drama is a roller coaster of emotions. One moment you are literally crying your eyes out of sadness and a minute later you are mad at the director and you would like a building to fell upon him and karma to do his job.
Acting: I love the main leads... the rest were ok too. At the beginning I couldn't stand Dr. Han Woo Jin, but I think his character gets better at the end. The biggest flaw is the director... it seems as at the end he would be forgiven for all the things he did... I suppose for him and the politician karma does not always works.
Music: the 3 main songs are nice (Memories, the Day, and Let you know).
Rewatch value: perhaps some part of the drama, but not everything.

It’s a nice rom-com. The plot is really basic but it works as it is.
What I liked:
- until episode 6 or so the story and dialogues were really funny.
- the main couple chemistry is nice too... they have cute moments together.
- Their acting is good too. I found better So Ji Sub here than in Masters Sun and for Shi Min Ah, as it was the 1st time I saw her, I liked her character in here, a strong woman able to do everything she decided to.
- the bromance among the main leads and the two “kids”.
- the idea that losing weight is for health reasons (and not because you boyfriend has dumped you).
- there were no many tropes, and some of them were completely inversed (like Joon Eun and the grandmother). That was cool.

What I didn’t like:
- the “your body is mine” part. Even if it’s obvious that for unknown reasons the main male lead is interested in the female lead almost since the beginning, at the end I had the feeling that for him, the fact that she continues to be slim and pretty was far too important in their relationship.
- the second couple: it doesn’t add anything to the story and overall the second male lead, his behaviour is not coherent. The second female lead acting is no so good too...
- the main male family’s. There’s no explanation, no development...
- the last two episodes. They were unnecessary to finish the drama. And they have two many flashbacks.

So... if you want to watch a nice room-com, to motivate yourself to see the positive way of life and to take determination to do something for you (as lose weight). This is for you!

This drama wasn’t on my priority watchlist because I knew what was it about (for someone who has been through cancer in their family it’s difficult to watch a series like this), and I didn’t like very much neither of the main leads (overall Suzy after Big, what did you expect?).
On the other hand, I thought it was a sad romance story, so, I needed the right time to see it…
But I have to say that this drama is much more than that. It talks about family, friends and justice. If you are expecting to watch a romance story, with a lot of cheesy moments between the main couple, forget it! They’re are more time apart than together. But if you want to see a story about how to put things that are wrong in their right place, this is it!

The casting is fine. I liked them all. Even Suzy did a good job. But, really, Kim Woo Bin IS the show. He is simply amazing! I’ve never felt so much before the pain he’s feeling, the sadness and the emotions he felt. Really, only to see this actor it worths to see the show.

Music: is really good too. Although Kim Woo Bin in my opinion hasn’t a good voice, even his songs are nice.

Rewatch: perhaps I would see part of the show, but I
don’t think I’ll be able to watch again the last episode, it’s too sad.

Sometimes it’s hard to follow the painful moments of the main lead, but at the same time it is a beautiful and positive drama. So, if you have time to get sad, and you don’t mind to use a lot of Kleenex, watch it!

This review may contain spoilers
It has been three months since I watch this drama, and still I can’t overcome it. I haven’t been able to watch any other sad drama because this one had too much of sadness for itself.
First of all I didn’t watch the prior Chinese version, so I can’t compare both. I know a lot of people thinks the Korean version is the worst, but I really liked it, although I’m not happy with the ending and I’m sure it has a lot of flaws.
Story: when you finish watching this drama you have the feeling you have watch two different things. The first half of the drama is like a comedy, and I althought there are some typical and (and cheesy) tropes, it’s funny. The second half is so sad... and so good at the same time,  but so so sad that you will need a lot of Kleenex to get to the end.
Things I didn’t like about the story:
- I didn’t understand that the female lead gave up so easily on finding a way to return to her time. I had the feeling she even didn’t try to find out. It seems too as it would be really easy to adapt to the past that it could be worthless to try anything else.
- The ending: SPOILER ALERT!!!!.........
.....…

I get that it’s not an easy task to have a happy ending with time travel stories, because you can’t change history, but in this drama I didn’t understand why they made IU remember everything when she returned to her actual time. I like the fact that when she disappeared in the past she returned to her actual time, but in my opinion it’s really cruel to let her know that she lived in the past, she loved someone who had been dead for centuries, and she even had a child she never ever could have the possibility to see.
She could have just returned and live her life in her own time, but like this she’s going to pass her life in complete pain remembering everything.

END OF SPOILER
Casting: I heard that there were a lot of complains about IU acting, but sorry here, I liked her. I think she did a good job although sometimes I didn’t like the way her rol had to act.

For example,

(SPOILER ALERT),

when Lee Joon Gi decides that he likes it better to become a king than to stay beside her (as he had told her he’d do), I would have preferred a strong female lead who would have left him there and would have lived her life anywhere else. Ok, that wouldn’t be the same story, but, come on! in the beginning she had a strong character  and afterwards she was so submissive... At the end I was overjoyed when she decided to leave him and marry his brother Wang Yoon (the 14th prince).

END OF SPOILER

I loved too the rest of the casting. I hadn’t seen anything of Lee Joon Gi before, so I wasn’t rooting for him to win the girl, neither for the 8th brother (he didn’t deserved her anyway). But I liked very much all the bromance moments among the princes. It was like it should have been in Hwarang but much better.
Music: I liked the OST very much, overall the song “Will be back”, that represents this drama for me: a wonderful and sad story at the same time.
Rewatch value: I’ll probably watch it again in the future, but not every episodes, only the first half of the season until it gets sad (I don’t want to cry it over and over again).
If you are willing to see a beautiful story even if you know that it will make you cry, go ahead, it's worth it.

I started this show because I wanted to see something cheerful and I had already heard about Yoon Shi Yoon doing the main lead as Enrique, a Korean Spanish guy who returns to Korea after living in Spain since he was a kid.
First, I'm from Spain, so I was interested in the story of a main lead who comes from my country, talks about the Clásico (the match between the Barcelona and the Real Madrid), about a our food, our music... Second, I saw Yoon Shi Yoon in Hit the top, and I liked him very much...I don't know why , but the way he acts remembers me  Yong Goo when he just started.
So... Positive things:
1. It's funny, I've liked Enrique a lot, with the exception of him talking in some weirdo Spanish (really, why couldn't they put somebody really speaking in Spanish?). He is supposed to have been living in Spain for more than 15 years, it's impossible he speaks soooo bad). But for the rest of the time, even if I'm aware he is kind of exaggerated, I loved his role.
2. The seconds leads are ok. I liked too the fact that although there's one lead who greeds for the girl, he's nice and there's no usual love triangle as in others k-dramas.
Negative things:
I'm sorry to say this, but I'm not a big fan of Park Shin Hye. Don't know why, but I have the feeling she has always done the same rol, as a crying baby who needs to be rescued. After some time it's kind of tiring. I don't say she is a bad actress, because I'm not, and she has a nice voice...but the three times I saw her (in You're beautiful, The heirs and this one) it was at I was watching the same drama, although with a different hairstyle.
I can't understand how a guy as cheerful as Enrique, so full of life, wouldn't get bored of her in 5 minutes.
There are more flaws in the story, and I can't say it's an amazing show, but it's ok to pass away the time.

I just finished watching this show, two days in a row, not because I needed to see what was happening, just because I had free time... so, we could say it’s OK to watch it if you have time, if you like dramas as “My love from the stars” (and you don’t expect to see anything so good so far...).
+/- the story
+ The fact that the settings of the first two chapters are in Spain, my country, that some of the scenes are in La Coruña, a place really near to my family hometown and a city that I know by heart since I was a kid... and that a Korean drama choose this place to do the drama... it’s really got me! So only with that, I was more than interested in watching the show.
+ the cinematography and photography of the show is amazing.
+ it’s funny. There are several parts of the show, as when the three con artist friends are doing their jobs, or when Tan Oh is doing photographs of the mermaid all the time, that I simply loved.

The casting:
+
Not being a big fan of Lee Min Ho after “Boys over flowers” and “The Heirs” I can say that I liked him here. He improved his acting.
-
I didn’t like Shin Seung rol as a stupid/Innocent mermaid. I get that she gets out of the sea and she doesn’t know how the world works... but sometimes it was too much. The script showed that she was really smart and she could learn really easy but it didn’t show nothing new about her competence as a learner... so for this reason it seemed that every other lead would think as she was stupid all the time...
On the other hand I couldn’t really see the romance between the two main leads at least until the last episode. I like their acting but separately. I would prefer the scenes where they were not together. In fact I think their love story was the thing I was interested the less. I don’t know if it was that they lacked chemistry or what, but I always had the feeling that they were missing something.
+ or - the music: The music is ok, even when I think most of the songs, are too cheesy, but I liked very much “Lean on you”.
Rewatch value: probably I won’t see this show anymore, but perhaps I would watch the two hour special recap.

If you want to see something funny to pass the time, this show is a good option.
The story is ok, another gender blender one, funny at times.  I watched it because I knew it was from a manga., and I wanted to see something lightful.
But sorry, nobody would think the main actress is a guy. On the other hand there were some hole plots in the story (for example, if Go Min Nyue was a good singer as a boy, wouldn’t she be too as a girl? Couldn’t she work in the music industry after that? Why she couldn’t see her brother? What kind of relationship did they have (if they have any)?
Acting
In the beginning I though it was too exaggerated, but later I remembered it was from a manga, so it was ok. But, anyway, though the main lead was more or less ok, the No Min Nyue girl was sometimes unbearable. Why was she always crying and telling everybody “I’m sorry”? I was tired of it.
Music: it’s ok. I have listened a lot the songstress before watching the show...
Rewatch: perhaps some parts of the show.
Conclusión: it’s funny, drole, entretenida... you should watch it if you want to have fun.

Without a doubt (at least for me) this was a good one, but, you should be aware that it's going to be different from what you would have expected.
Story: it's kind of sad, but terribly realistic. Life it's like that. Things don't work as in k-drama , where there's almost every time a happy ending and good things happen to the leads. This does not mean the ending is sad, it's simply not what we could see as the best one (but for sure every audience it's different). Here you would see life as it could be. Life has goods and bad things, and your future would depend on how you are able to deal with them.
This is the main message you get from this show. Hard things happen, and you must continue living on. That's it.
Acting: I decided to watch this after 2nd watching (and loving) Chugakusei Niki, cause I wanted to see Akimura Kasumi again. In this drama, I liked her role very much. The female lead is really a strong and brave woman. Continuously, sad and really complicated things happen to her, and she is able to deal with them as best as anybody could.
Nevertheless, I'm not sure it's the same for the male lead. Ok, he suffered in Phillippines, but that's all. It seems that most of the time he doesn't care for anything. I can't understand he is so "cool" with having no news from the female lead. The least he coud have done is look for her, to know what was happening... It was the same for Hana-chan, in my humble opinion, she is the best exemple of an anti-friend. She knew all along that what she was doing wasn't right, if not, she would have contacted Toko the first moment she set a foot again in Japan. So, yeah, even if troubles come in the way of life, I really can't understand this part.
And yes, most of the time love is not enough and you need so much more to make it work. If you are lucky enough, you will live with the love of your live; if not, you'll always find something else that makes you happy. As the moral in this drama shows: "happiness should be grasped with your own hands".

Truly, I was expecting much more of this show. Overall, I wanted it not to be another Mirror of the Witch, with too many episodes = too boring.
Luckily, this one it’s a bit less boring than the other one, even if 20 episodes are still too many. Definitely, it would have been better with 16.
Story —) it was OK, but the plot was a completely disaster. The first three episodes were really good, the last three or four were good too... But, in between, sometimes the rest of the episodes were kind of boring.
This secret plan was an stupid idea, I really don’t know what screenwriters were thinking all along.
What about the ending? Why is it so ambiguous? I would prefer the 20th episode to finish like 10 minutes before than that. There’s no logical coherence in why there was a year gap, or why the last episode has to be that way for Lee Joon Gi (because really, there were some other episodes where he was in much worse situations than in this one). Nonetheless, I liked how it ended for Gwi, kind of poetic, isn’t it?
Acting —) I wanted to see Lee Joon Gi in another drama, after having watched him in Moon Lovers. I think he was ok in this one and I admit he’s a good actor (although I prefer him in Moon Lovers obviously). I understood the sadness in him but he was so boring in his daily life! On the other hand I couldn’t see the chemistry between the main leads anywhere. And another thing I found really bothersome was that I couldn’t understand why Yang Seon was smart and brave when she was dressing as a man , and she acted as a stupid and spoiled child when she was dressed as a woman. Moreover, the development of both main leads where inexistente and too flat.
What I liked very much was the villain. He is the best villain ever (and the sexiest). At least he and Hye Ryung changed throughout the episodes and they showed that their personalities were much deeper than the main leads.
Music —) I didn’t care about the music. In fact it was burdensome and irritating.
Rewatch —) Never... unless someone explains to me what really happens at the end.

I decided to watch it because not long ago I had read the manga and it was funny.
We could say this is an ok drama you’ll see several times (as me) when you need some moments of comedy full of clichés. It has a lot of flaws but at the same time, some good things.
+ THINGS
* some moments are really funny.
* I like very much the main actors. This one was my first time watching them. And since then, I’m a fan. Both are amazing in everything they do.
* I appreciated the fact that there is a good profesional development in the female lead’s life.
- THINGS so so
* Why couldn’t they use the manga in the fullest? Why did they have to add all the kdrama’s clichés (illness, amnesia, piggy ride...)?
* if they would have done as in the manga, the length couldn’t have been more than 12 episodes. Twenty episodes were two many and it dragged so much, overall the last 4.
I haven’t seen the original nor the remakes, but I think if you want to watch a fluffy romance drama with some angst moments not too serious, you could watch this one.

I've been postponing to watch this serie because I knew it was about a guide and a group of tourist doing a trip in France. I'm not from this country, but I live here, not far away from Paris and all the places you see in The Package. So... for me it sounded kind of boring, so this was the main reason what it have been taken me out of watching it. Now I'm glad I decided to give it an opportunity.
It's a short drama (only 12 episodes) and I needed something lighter after watching "3-nen A Gumi: Ima kara mina san hitojichi desu" y "Princess Agents"... so, I gave it a chance, and I liked it much more that I thought I'd do.
So, the story happens in France, but it could be anywhere else. It talks about people, with problems, and how they have the time to think about them and resolve them. It talks about how to connect with people, and things that matter in life. Overall, you'll have the feeling to see how the show compares two completely different cultures (the Asian and European on one hand, the Korean and French, on the other hand), and how, if you are able to appreciate other places, people and culture, you'll learn and you'll grow as a person by yourself. And on the way, you'll solve the problems you could have.
I liked that this show is much more that a rom-com. It's really short and you'll have a good feeling at the end. Give it an opportunity.

Usually I'm not into completely romantic dramas, where the only story and action sorrounds the two main leads and there's nothing else apart from this, but I have to confess that I liked this one. It's cutteness in action! There is a great chemistry between the main actors. I know a lot of you will wonder, who is going to believe that she is a robot? but ok, Kim Min Kyou had been alone all his life, so I really believe he was such in need of people that he could believe anything in the world.
Acting: they are amazing. Funny and sad scenes, you can feel them through the actors.
Music: I like the three or four songs. They were fine with the drama.
If you have some time to watch it, do it! it worths the time.
