Hilarious acid trip

I realize this type of comedy isn't everyone's cup of tea, but don't knock it till you try it. More people need to see this :D

The entirety of this show is a comedy of a comedy, with plenty of references, chaotic characters, silly sound effects and canned laughter. This is the only show i have ever watched where canned laughter didn't make my whole body cringe-instead it made things better. It was an emotional roller coaster all the way through. The show doesn't take itself seriously, which is what made it even better.
Plenty of fourth wall breaking, silly puns, and comic relief. Not one character got on my nerves which is a first. Porpla was kinda iffy at the beginning, but by the end you will love her. Everything is over the top, yet it isn't- it's kinda hard to explain. :D

The actors did an amazing job portraying characters from this crackhead series , and Pun and Nott had surprisingly amazing chemistry. I would love to see BTS of this series, and how they managed to keep their composure through the super cheesy and corny lines. All in all, i enjoyed every second of this acid trip! :D
The only negative thing i have to say about the series is the flashing lights at the beginning. Literally gave me a headache xD

Acting:
10/10
Rewatch value:
12/10

Also, holy moly Lay is incredibly attractive. Don't get me wrong, the entirety of the cast is, there's just something about Lay that makes him stand out. :D

Slow, warm, fluffy burn packed in 20 minutes. Everything I've seen from Strongberry was amazing, and this was no exception. I loved the cast, the acting and the plot. Although it's a 20 minutes long movie, the story wasn't rushed at all. The ending was happy. I strongly encourage people to buy the movie from the official links, as it helps Strongberry make more great movies. <3
Cast:
Really handsome guys, acting felt natural and not awkward at all
Music:
Nothing that stands out too much, but nonetheless very fitting
Rewatch:
Sure, I really liked the movie, and its a great "palate cleanser" after some heavier dramas. It makes you warm and fuzzy ^^

Cute underrated fluff

I wasn't expecting much from a movie with 5 actors, and a totally new (to me) cast -but boy was i not disappointed.
Yeah, its not a super special theme, but it was done soo cutely and adorably i can't hate it.
It really is worth the watch. It's so wholesome, cute, uplifting and without unnecessary drama. You should watch this if you're feeling kinda down- it's instant mood boost. ^^ My cheeks hurt from the constant smile i had on my face.

The chemistry between the leads is very nice and natural. There were no awkwardly long stares, or pauses in the speech. The kissing scenes were an added bonus. It's really believable Earth and Sun are in love. Also i love that their names match. ^^
i LOVED the second love interest, Mog, and the maturity after rejection. A breath of fresh air, honestly. He proved that you can be heartbroken without resorting to being a complete dick and psychopath, and trying to ruin others lives. He deserves an award for being a great friend.

I'm a mess after this, but in a good way

I went into this because of Kokoy, not knowing anything about the drama other than the poster and that Kokoy was acting. Please ignore the bad comments and give this a shot, the series does not disappoint at all. This review is spoiler after spoiler but I'm an emotional mess, and need to get it out.

Music:
10/10 Very fitting and beautiful. Found some new music!
Acting:
15/10 Especially the male leads, and Mando's friends!
Story:
10/10 Very realistic and relatable.
Ending :
Happy!
Rewatch value:
I would watch this again!

At first, the Rapunzel dreamlike narrative was odd and wasn't clicking yet, but when it did , it all made sense. Obviously it was Mando's inner turmoil, denial and self acceptance- but to me him being Rapunzel gave Mando an opportunity to try and be objective by sorta distancing himself from the struggle he was going through. I fell in love with the way Kokoy portrayed Mando. Extremely charming and flawed- but not beyond redemption. Yes, cheating is bad- but what made his character redeemable was that he didn't let the affair drag on, he gave Barry an opportunity to come clean and make things right with his sister, he came out on his own terms, and made peace with his conscience. I loved the fact that he didn't let Barry manipulate him into silence and taking all the blame. After all, it takes two to tango. He also showed great strength by not picking up the phone when Barry called, after the messy break up.

Barry, uhhhh, he is a flawed character as well. With self harm, attempted suicide, and willingness to stay silent - there is definitely a lot to unpack. But he too, is not nonredeemable. He did come clean, although forced to come clean, he explained and tried to make amends later on. It took time, this wasn't a "regular" affair, he cheated with his sisters' boyfriend. The fight he had with Mando, prior to being hospitalized for the attempted suicide, when Mando was trying to break it off was extremely realistic. People , when cornered, when in denial and under a lot emotional stress will try to manipulate and shift the blame, or at least some of it - to feel better about themselves. Unfortunately, I've been cheated on, and when presented with the opportunity to suck it up and admit it, my ex tried to make me feel bad as well, so he wouldn't feel like shit. Apart from the blame game and cheating, i relate to Barry and his (in my eyes) self hatred. People in the comments are complaining about how they handled the topic of suicide, and the brevity of the scene- but i think they handled it very well. Even the sisters "Everything will be okay in the end" was spot on. My friend attempted suicide, and upon first meeting there were a lot of emotions. Mostly crying, shame, and super weak attempts at humor. But after hearing her out, there was no grand philosophical lecture on my side. Just a shoulder to cry on, and comforting soft hugs accompanied by "It's gonna be okay, I'm just glad you're here." There is nothing amazing or clever you can say, and they do have to go to therapy.
Think of it this way. If someone murders somebody the punishment is jail. If you harm yourself, the "punishment" is therapy and facing your demons. If they handled it any other way, the storytelling would falter.

Krisha was definitely being used, but i have a hard time completely sympathizing with her. I feel like the culmination of episode 5 was partly her karma. Hear me out: she showed up at Mando's home unannounced by going through the forms, she was being pushy and nosy when they ran into Mando's mother and refused to listen to Mando when he wanted to leave , she refused to be rejected when Mando told her to stop texting him cause it makes him uncomfortable, and she sorta made it her own little conquest game- the trophy being Mando. Something about the actress also made it hard for me to completely sympathize with her. Although, they way she acted in episode 5 was amazing.

Vincent and Leslie are friends we should all strive to be, and be lucky to have. Open, honest friendship, where people are not afraid to call out the faults. But more than call out, accept us for who we truly are- or rather Mando. I liked that they gave him space and time to come out (even tho it was obvious) , that they gave him advice, and how down to earth they were. They saw the mistake, called him out for it, and gave him advice how to solve it, and more importantly they stuck around to see him get better, and move on from everything.

This should be a must watch

Let me preface this review by saying it will be full of spoilers, as i need a place to put my thoughts. I am not a native English speaker, sorry for the mistakes. Again, THERE ARE SPOLERS AHEAD.

MUSIC:
Perfection! 15/10
CAST:
20/10
REWATCH VALUE:
100/10. I would, if i could, make every single person i know watch this. It's beautiful.
ENDING:
Immaculate

I loved every single second of this series, and I am hoping we will be lucky with a S2. It isn't really a drama in the way most of us are used to, there is no antagonist, no scheming, no true villains. It's a slice of life series that happens to tackle the problems young adults are faced in the LGBTQ+ community. It is wholesome, heartfelt, it will shred you to pieces, and it will bring you back up again. Its a perfect example of "We love each other, but the time isn't right".
Everything regarding this series is amazing. The writing, the acting the music, pacing, subtle hints, hidden gems! The little messages and ending credits- aahhh im still bawling my eyes out. Honestly, its god tier.

Although there are (only) 8 episodes the story isn't rushed at all. It flows naturally, and you don't have a feeling you're watching a series, it feels like you're peeping through a window into Karl and Vlad's life. It starts off slowly, but quickly builds and grows from episode one. You can see the characters grow, mature, make mistakes, fall in love, break apart, and mend each other . The backstories aren't there just as fillers, they help us see their point of view, help us sympathize , and understand their actions and responses to challenges, each other, but to themselves too.

Karl is a shy boy, unaware of his own sexuality, who is a little rough around the edges in the first 2-3 episodes. As the series progresses, and the story unfolds we see that he is really attentive, selfless, compassionate and overall a kind soul. Don't get me started on the hidden presents, birthday and the dancing. ;_; He made mistakes regarding using derogatory terms, and backhanded compliments- but he was eager to be educated when Vlad confronted him about it. His backstory is tragic, and something i deeply sympathize with. His parents had a son before him, who loved drawing houses, and the parents wanted him to be an architect. Due to their parents moment of negligence he drowned in the ocean. Karl was conceived(or born) a year after his death, and inherited everything. Including his brothers name, clothes, and dreams. He wasn't given a possibility of choice even when choosing his college.

Vlad is a confident, smart outgoing guy, comfortable in his own sexuality, and mature enough not to be agitated with every mistake Karl made, so as long he was willing to learn and apologize. Vlad too has a sad backstory, and he blames himself that their father left. Vlad's dad is a homophobic dick, who hit his child because he was "too excited to talk about a seatmate". He was 6 at the time. A year later, during his birthday party he ruffled Vlad's hair, left and never came back. His sister, Judith, played a major role in why he blamed himself. continuous saying "if only you weren't gay" and other bullshit, made him believe he was the reason. Also, consent is so fucking sexy! All hail Vlad, and his maturity! <3

Judith is, from my point of view, a complete bitch. Due to the mistakes, and blame she put on Vlad when they were younger, she is now an "avid ally". Every scene with her irked me, and i wanted to slap the shit out of her. She is pompous, invades privacy, gives herself too much rights. Barging into OTHER peoples home, shushing people, and cutting them off while talking is disgusting. If i were Karl, i would've pushed her down the stairs. -.- The behavior portrayed by her is that of toxic positivity, and is more damaging than it does any good. Forcing her brother and Karl to kiss in front of her, while exclaiming "You gays give me life" creeped me the fuck out. It sounded like fetishisation of gay relationships, and i wanted to barf. Also, cornering someone into coming out, in front of people is so fucking wrong on so many fucking levels. People are entitled to their own truths and "coming out" in their own terms, and when they are ready. She is the perfect example of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". Judith gave me flashbacks to when i had to protect my best friend at the time, due to the exact same situation. He was cornered into coming out, but instead of liberation - he got kicked out of his home and ostracized from his family. We were 15 at the time, he was living with me and my family for the time being. It took us 2 years to bring his confidence to half of what it used to be. Being an ally is being a support system, and fighting alongside those you love and support - when it is needed. It is not proclaiming "I AM AN ALLY" every two seconds.

Anna is a bit annoying, has a sharp tongue, and her backstory explains her behavior. She is a teenage mother, who got pregnant at prom night, and fears that she is missing out on life because of her kid. Anna refuses to be "reduced" just to the role of motherhood and sacrifices, cause she is so much more. She is an artist, she is bold, honest and unapologetic. Her role is that of female empowerment, and she proved to be a great friend, and a much better ally than Judith. Her advice was always timed and phrased perfectly- and she was the push that Karl needed to become braver. I loved her so much.

Karls parents are so much like mine, that i started crying uncontrollably when he talked to them last time. You are the perfect child and you can do no wrong- so as long as you do what they say. The moment you have the "audacity" to have your own dreams, and refuse to have them shoving their on complexes and dreams down your throat- you're in the wrong. You're ungrateful. They had the audacity to pretend like Karl isn't a replacement child, forcing their dreams and plans onto him. Also a great example of toxic positivity. Some people don't deserve to be parents. So many dreams, hopes, aspirations and lives get crushed under the overwhelming pressure of forced dreams, and wanting love and approval from parents. I was so happy when Karl started taking steps towards his dreams, and ultimately - freedom.

Oh my god! I started this series without any expectations, and i have not regretted a single second ! The story is well written, while it does follow some classic tropes it does it in a new and refreshing way. The music is excellent , and acting as well. The chemistry between MewGulf is off the charts. I felt every emotion intended to be felt alongside a lot of frustration. would recommended this to everyone and their grandma! :D

I apologize in advance, English is not my first language :D

There is a lot to unpack in this drama, but first of all i have to get an unpopular opinion out there: Although i fucking love them and their chemistry, I don't think Type deserves Tharn. Let me just explain why. Although Type was molested in the past, and that led to him being homophobic , everything he did to Tharn was so inconsiderate, and ultimately selfish. Exploring your sexuality and coming to terms with yourself should not include trampling over others, especially over your partner. He was using and abusing the fact that Tharn's love is unconditional, and that he forgave him for his foul mouth more than once, even when he shouldn't have. On the other hand, Tharn is also a broken person, having all of his partners leave him, for reasons explained in the series. He gets his partners attention by being attentive, warm, supportive and ultimately flexible with boundaries, patience and needs.
They are polar opposites, and Tharn has been hurt by Type so many fucking times, that i wanted to break my screen just so that i could beat the living shit out of Type. How could you be such a dick towards the only person willing to put up with your shitty behavior? As we see later in the series the same shitty impulsive childish behavior has his dad. We have seen some character growth from Type regardless of my rambling. I just needed to get this off my chest. ((Many people are justifying Types' behavior and violence with past trauma, even calling his antics cute? (threats of break up, punching him in the face more than once, internalizing doubts, and communicating in a relationship like fucking toddler) Like wtf, if you have a need to feel wanted by making your partner jealous, you're a douche in my book))

STORY:
Story was in my opinion nicely executed. Loved both the drama, and the novel. Timeline was nice, story wasn't rushed, and the audience wasn't served everything on a silver platter, tho some elements were a bit predictable. I loved the final twist so much, and it was executed amazingly.

ACTING/Characters:
Obviously, MewGulf did an amazing job as many before me have stated, and those steamy kisses omg. Two ice cube scenes, and that shower scene were god tier!!
I take my hat off to Mild and Kao! Their portrayal of Techno and Lhong left me speechless.
Techno is a friend to die for, quite literally! If you ever happen to stumble upon a friend like that, never let them go! Supportive, understanding, a bit of a blabbermouth, but an honest support and shoulder to lean on!

Lhong on the other hand is such a headache and sneaky bastard, i feel so fucking frustrated that his only punishment for the atrocities that he did was being away from his love interest/obsession. Of course, my frustration may stem from my lack of understanding of Thai culture. Perhaps they are relying on the laws of karma? Even so, his punishment should have been so much more severe than what he got. He should rot for at least next three lives. Kao's acting was stellar -honestly!

P'San is a piece of shit, pedophile that is incapable of taking a hint, and no for an answer. He was giving me the creeps every time he was on screen. All that talk of 14 year old Tharn made my head hurt. Even tho it was a "consentual" sexual encounter, it should have never happened, because P'San was 17 at that time. He should have been punched in the face. Creep.

Tharn's brother is a pushover, and i dont like him very much. Only redeeming quality is that he is supportive.

P'Tar gave me a headache every time i saw him on screen. I do not like clingy whiney characters in real life, and i do not like them on screen. He is a deeply broken young person, who could have saved himself, and people around him a lot of trouble had he came forth with his trauma. Albeit it is not easy to open up about such things, if P'Tum knew, he could have helped him cope, change his number to stop the harassment, move away and eventually move on from Tharn. Keeping it for yourself can only do harm.

MUSIC
I loved every soundtrack, little sound effects, the piano score was beautiful! Be Mine and Hold me Tight as piano versions are so pretty!

REWATCH:
I am currently on my 3rd rewatch, so hell yeah. 15/10 Of course the series has its flaws, but they weren't even in the slightest deal breakers for me.

Cute!

I finished this in one go. It was just so cute and fluffy omg! It reminded me of my past crushes, and how intense the feelings can be. I couldn't stop smiling throughout the drama. But i cried too :D
I gave the story a 7, because it's a trope we've all seen numerous times, but i like the twist of it being digital. You can definitely feel the awkwardness of first meetings with someone you don't know, and on top of that don't have a good opinion on. Tho, Xavier's and Miko's interactions just go to show that we really shouldn't be too quick to judge. An added bonus is NO toxic females, no unnecessary drama!

I was melting with Miko, as he was slowly realizing he had feelings for Xavier, and the little panic attacks he had while talking/listening about him. Mikos dream and confession were so relatable xD Tho, ngl i was worried Xavier would turn out to be a jerk, i am so glad to be proven wrong.

I must say, episode 4 has my heart, it has all of my uwus XD

Given the limitations and the number of episodes , it pretty good. Actors are super cute too, and they portrayed their roles nicely :D
