As this movie ended I found myself crying...something I rarely do. Honestly, I'm not sure why. This movie has laughter and heartache. It moved me in a way that I'm still trying to digest. The story is simple, but well done. I did become frustrated at one point and almost quit watching it. It is due to the jerks that are in this movie. I really hate some of the characters. However, the kids and the nice village people more than make up for it. Song Joong Ki keeps surprising me with his acting skill. After this and Innocent Man, I will no longer think of him as just a pretty face. He didn't have many lines in this movie, but I new everything he was thinking and feeling by the expressions on his face. That is the trademark of a true actor. Park Bo Young is also a great actress. Her character as Suni was well rounded. I loved her looking through the dog training encyclopedia. She was just so cute while helping Cheol-su. Yoo Yeon Seok plays asshole to perfection. I truly hated his character, Ji Tae. The cinematography is fantastic and the music fits perfectly. I recommend that everyone give this movie a chance.
