I have not seen the original Hong Kong series that this movie is based on, so I don't know what the differences may be, but it's probable that the original was better than this remake. This movie focuses mostly on the relationship between the main four leads - at the start of the movie they fall into a particular hierarchy, but something happens and the balance of power begins to shift. Unfortunately most of the action happens at the start, and then at the end of the movie. I did hope the movie could explain more how Jung Tae Min built his empire to become the top in Busan. I think Kim Kang Woo and Joo Jin Mo put it good performances as the brothers who share a love-hate relationship, portraying the conflicting emotions they feel towards each other and the difficult past they've had. Overall verdict: alright in terms of action, with a moving story about brotherhood.
