If you want the same level of comedy as you enjoyed in Waikiki with just the level of romance with the main couple and side characters (plus development), then go right ahead. I am still watching this drama writing this, but if you push through at least the first episode, you'll in no time that this show is indeed reminscient of the absurdly hilarious storylines that you find yourself enjoying. Had be enjoying each ep and having always seen the ML actor in sadder character roles, I love his acting here.

Although they hold different settings, the comedic energy in both dramas is quite similar!
Both do an impressive job of showcasing fun, light-hearted comedy that has you cackling at 2am in the night
A romantic storyline begins developing itself in the story as the episodes progress
Has adorable couple moments, and a minute love triangle

If you're looking for a show that has the same comedic energy, and don't mind slightly older actors as well as a slightly mature storyline, I definitely recommend checking it out!

You're left wanting more of the 6 main characters of this story :))

Both are xianxia
There's heartwrenching times and there's also adorable times
Both have FLs who initially have an indifferent, child-like personality that matures & develops -- let them grow on you
Beautiful visuals for both
CGI is better in AoL but nothing th at hinders L&R's plot itself
Likeable side characters and ofc some side couples - I do argue that AoL has it better
Overall, definitely recommend if you are still reminiscing over Ashes of Love and need more xianxia love to quench that thirst :D

ONLY IF YOU WANT TO SEE MORE OF SEO IN GUK.

This drama is completely different, and shows a really different side to Seo In Guk's acting (as well as shows you how well he fits into any role he plays).

You have to be ready for confusion, suspense and not your usual happy ending.

While it is still ongoing, I see many similarities in the characters. It's like Goblin but genders reversed, and a mix of the Grim Reaper's job.
Female lead plays a person who isn't dead and has powers. You have a male lead who is 'meant' to be with the female lead.
The effects are great, and it has to do with the dead somehow.
Definitely recommend if you enjoyed Goblin.
(Can't say much about Romantic part since I'm still watching it)

Definitely has the supernatural vibe, and beautiful cinematography.
You'll see beautiful parallels with another time period in Korean History (in this one being 1930s Korea).
The chic house, an interesting romantic story and just a lot of feels and excitement, this drama is seriously underrated, while at the same time gives you Goblin vibes.
