Episode 1: That kiss

Boooooyyy! I loved the first episode. I knew Earth is an amazing actor, but i did’nt know that his boyfriend is just as good as him. I loved their dynamic and how the story progressed. The story flowed so naturally and i could realy understand the meaning behind the main caracters actions. Why Ozone never vent against the bullies, and why Sun never directly intervened. Ozone beeing from a family that dosent aprove of or care for him, while Sun had gotten in trouble for trying to stop a bully from hurting someone.

The ending was perfect. When Sun kissed Ozone i screamed! It was such a good scene. And when Ozone gave Sun that note, i was so sure it would be his nomber or somthing like that, i did NOT expect him to ask Sun out.

Don't read the synopsis on the details page! it spoils the first episode!

I have been waiting so long for this show to start airing. I didn't read the synopsis of the series so when I say I was surprised when I watched the first episode boy is that an understatement. I thought that it would be the stereotypical troupe where one character is broken and the other character gets magically thrown into said broken characters life and they heal together but that is not what the first episode is about. I like that the first episode is nothing like I had imagined. The first episode is attention grabbing , and let's us quickly feel a connection and develop a fondness for the 1st lead (Archer) I can't wait to see the development of the relationship between the two main characters from their first meeting. I also pray that our 2nd lead (class president) has good character development later in the show. The class president is cheeky, and cunning but he is a jerk and gets on my nerves I know that's kind of the whole point but like the 1st lead I want to throw a good punch in the direction of the 2nd leads smile.

Ancient Love Poetry.

I have compared this drama with my religious beliefs. In Christianity, there is GOOD and EVIL. We also believe there is a GOD, His Son and His Holy Spirit. He created the universe we live in and all the inhabitants. From the tiniest atom to the human beings that live on the earth. He also created a very handsome angel that had the highest role in heaven over all the angels. This angel became proud and jealous. He made war against God and the heavenly Kingdom. God threw him and his followers, 1/3 of the heavenly angels, out of heaven.Their destination was the perfect world God created. Since then this world became chaotic. But God still loved the people He created. The three Dieties met and God sent His son down to this world. Born as a human baby to parents who serve God and love Him. He was named Jesus. Jesus lived among men. He suffered the same temptations we have. He was falsely accused and finally He was crucified on the cross. He died to save us from sin and to give us eternal life. Only if we accept Him. There is always a war going on between that angel Lucifer (Satan) and the people who worship Jesus Christ. Very similar to this drama.

I am known to be overly dramatic, but hear me out.......

For weeks I have been on the hunt for a good BL to watch. I feel like at this point I have watched almost everything (over exaggeration), but for weeks, I have seen this series everywhere and I continued to avoid it after reading the summary over and over again because of ONE thing.......racing lol. I avoided watching this because of the concept of racing cars. Yesterday, I gave in and I just did it, and I will tell you, I was GAGGED after the first episode, absolutely and completely gagged. I am going to try and review this in a really well thought out and organized way, but bear with me, because I do not do this often.

Story

The story is not what I expected it to be, I generally thought I was going to be bored with the whole concept, but boy, was I wrong. I have never been one for racing, but I have been on the edge of my seat with that whole again, concept. Racing is not really the whole part of the story though, and watching it has made me realize that there is so much more and it feels so complex to me, in a good way. I think that maybe there is a little bit of confusion sometimes when it came to the main story, but when is there not confusion in a BL (with the exception of the eighth sense, my all-time favorite). I think the story was really well thought out and portrayed in such a way that makes you want to keep watching. That's all I really have to say about the story, just STOP DOUBTING YOURSELF AND WATCH IT!!!!!!! (if you feel the same way I did.

Acting/Characters

The acting is flat out amazing, now I do not know Babe's real name yet and I will learn it soon, but he is outstanding. Everything about his performance has been amazing. Same goes for Charlie. The two of them combined = heart explosion. Their chemistry is and will forever be one of my favorites, they just feel so real and perfect. The side couple, which I haven't gotten into far yet is also going pretty well, I won't name names because it's a slow development so far and I don't wanna spoil it. This show has just done a really great job overall.

I know this is probably a very short and direct review, but this show has taken the words right out of my mouth. I have smiled, laughed, and cried already so much and I still have more to watchhhhh. I am just so invested right now that I had to come here a write a review on this. This show is sooooo different from any Thai BL that I have really seen, with exceptions of course, but I really just highly recommend this show, especially if you are a romance fiend like I am as well as someone who likes a little bit if steam~~.

It's pretty good..

For a person who came for the dancing, it was pretty good. The drama wasn't as edited as in SWF but you can still see it was a bit heated. I mainly posted this comment because there was another one saying ridiculous things. It's a battle it's not meant to be as technical the moves are good but if you're lacking the energy you can't bring it. It's like writing the best essay in the world but nobody can read it. so it's about bringing the energy. Most of the judges' decisions I agree with and so did the contestants so who are you to flip out and get mad at? I DO AGREE WITH THE B2B PART THO

If you want purely dancing, I suggest u watch the street dance of china but if you want some more SAUCE the SMF is perfect including the music track in SMF is WAY better.
This is besides the point but their VISUALSSSS
The dancing is good, and it is entertaining, wanting to see what will happen next, although some scenes are a bit repetitive. I prefer this season more than the first and I'm rooting for 1million and YGX...

I have recently started this drama and I like the whole idea of kidnapping, I love watching criminal dramas with kidnapping because it is interesting to see whether the man will escape or not... I cant wait to see the end,hope it has happy end. The chemistry between the actors is so nice and they make me laugh in every episode, it is really relaxing drama and it is my favorite type...although sometimes the actors overdose with comic situations and make absurd things that cant happen in real life. But it is an interesting plot and i will definitely continue watching this + the cast is so beautiful and fresh.

They thought they could ride the A-teen formula but they messed up bad.

I didn't watch the whole web series cause it was so boring.Idk which episode it was it was in like 4 or 5 where the couple Kiss and boy do they blow it out of proportion. For a kiss they acted like some 6 year old who saw someone kissing for the first time and these guys are supposed to be University students. Anyways the camerawork,music are good and acting is descent(they did their best for what they where given) but the story is bad af. I mean A-teen was a cliche but it was a good cliche this was taken from the success of A-teen to produce this mess.You can't keep using the same formula mate you gotta change a little.

Miniseries in which Tar and Bom break the fourth wall and stand out for their joy and monologues

The miniseries 'You Made My Day' (Thai title ชื่นใจไปทุกวัน), also known as 'Refreshed Every Day', 'You Make My Day', 'Chuenjai Pai Tuk Wan' and 'Chuenchai Pai Thuk Wan') us brings back to the screen the actors Tar Atiwat Saengtien and Bom Tanawat Uthaikitwanit, the protagonists of the LGBT+-themed comedy-drama 'I Will Knock You', broadcast by AIS Play and Channel 3, between November 2022 and February of the following year.
Those people who, like me, enjoyed the story that revolves around the romance between "Thi" Thiwa Ananbhuchai, the boy who combines his university studies with his part-time job as a tutor, and Noey Watphlu, the leader of a gang, that behind the tough guy façade there really is a noble and ridiculously stupid boy, now you will have the opportunity to see these two actors again in a miniseries of 5 episodes of about 8 minutes each.
Playing themselves, the two protagonists of 'I Will Knock You' give us a beautiful story about two friends who, driven by circumstances, fulfill a mission every day, such as preparing a surprise party for Tar's mother or traveling the city looking for Bunny, his missing dog.
In this way, the series invites us to travel with the protagonists through the streets of Bangkok, visit its temples, monuments and other sites of historical and cultural interest, appreciate Thai cuisine, navigate the rivers that cross said capital, while we learn about various interesting aspects of the Southeast Asian country.
With the aim of promoting Minzz inhalers, we could define 'You Made My Day' as a commercial advertisement turned into a miniseries. This type of television product fails to win over BL followers. However, due to the lack of budget, many creators and actors have had to accept financial proposals from companies to carry out their projects.
I like the way in which, indifferently, both actors become main narrators and break the fourth wall by addressing the viewer to introduce themselves or ask them to encourage them to carry out the missions to be carried out in each episode, causing the audience to form part of the work.

Likewise, I like the monologues that the characters use, now one, now the other, to define traits of their personality or so that the audience can get to know their most intimate thoughts without the need for a narrator to intervene.
Tar and Bom carry on their shoulders a miniseries full of sweetness and tenderness, in which the chemistry and charisma of the characters, the festive color palette, the music and the contagious joy of the protagonists, make us all hope that a From moment to moment the two friends become lovers.
There are still three episodes left until the conclusion of 'You Make My Day'. We will continue to support the miniseries until the end.

So far I like it. despite what reviews below say

yes it has its flaws here and there but I don't think it's fair to submit judgement on the story so early , there is still so much to be learned with only 40% of the story told and 60% untold ....I like the actors and to be honest a lot of their sarcasm wit makes for a more realistic character story if you ask me. ..I'm looking forward to seeing what else this one has in store for us!

Lastly, the way they incorporate coffee and music , you learn so much about both of these industries that I don't think you would see in a series regularly and I found that fascinating ... especially bc I live off of coffee and tea ...just hope they go into the music side of things as much as they do with the coffee...it seems both industries play a huge role into both main charecters and are important to both of them!

Bad Case of the Wrong Audience (maybe..)

Maybe it's cos I'm not a young adult anymore or about to write an important exam or was never a teenager or something... I'm not so sure why but this drama didn't resonate with me at all. Infact I found it quite uninteresting. It's sad cos I was really looking forward to enjoying this as it reminded me of a movie I enjoyed, titled Coach Carter, which had the same premise of a teacher taking special interest in a "bad class" and working with them to give them options in life.

I respect good teachers and education as a resource for personal growth but I got tired very fast of the preachy way things were said especially by the teacher alllll of the time and unfortunately none of the kids stories struck any cord in me. I dropped by ep 11, skimmed from 12 to 16 to see if it got better and finally couldn't go on.

The acting was not the strongest for me from the students. Especially with Gao Yuan. Was not the worst but no standouts.

I barely remember the music but I remember not hating it so..

I understand that they're trying to encourage the youth to stay in school but it seemed that's all the drama was ultimately about and I don't think this was made for me at all.

Zhao Xiao - the Village Idiot!! But he did a good job playing his role .

J**sus H C**st !!! THIS ACTOR portraying as Wang Zhuo Cheng as Zhao Xiao -- must be the "Village Idiot". Firstly, he hated Joseph Zeng playing as Li Qianhe, the reason was that according to his distorted mind that Li Qianhe (main male lead) stolen the bride (main female lead) without thinking that it was the "Bandit, Qing Tai" whom the engagement did not go through. Secondly, the Village Idiot almost annihilated the battalion with his stupidity. Thirdly, he tried to help the main female lead picking\handling the snake with his own hand and of course the snake bit him on the finger. Then after that, he saw the man who let lose the snake and wanted to kill him, but the female lead stops him (they are in enemy territory) -- OMG what is it about him, did he get a brain tumor which his action and decision making were fatal? It reminds me of a quote from another CDrama "A powerful opponent is nothing to fear. But a weak teammate is fatal" ??. (Pretty please pardon my grammar). Oh well, it does make the movie tantalizing. ?

In the SOTUS the Series (2016), in Ep. 6 [4/4], the main role character ‘Bright’ tells TuTah,

“Is this the time to say that, you FAG?”

I know a translator’s slip should not spoil one’s fun, and I have tried to remain fair about the whole thing. BUT, I must admit, it was a shock and a disappointment. Actually, I was hurt and for that reason pissed off and do not know of any other way to vent my frustration than to express my feelings here.

In America and Europe the term ‘fag’ is the most derisive, insulting and humiliating hate-term you can use against a gay person. Shame on the translators and shame on anyone responsible for allowing such hateful speech on public television. To the translator of this insult I would like to say, “this world belongs to all of us - so get used to it”.

I hope the ignorant person who did this will grow a heart and learn to consider the terrible impact this word will have on young minds... including gay kids, and gay-friendly kids. After getting punched like this in the middle of a supposedly safe LB series, many vulnerable-gay ones will learn to hide even more, while the gay-friendly will learn to be less friendly.

Words are like swords: they cut!

As to the rest of the series, I found it very entertaining and well made; the chemistry a little off balance, though, with the character of Kongpob taking most of the credit. I was, nonetheless, enjoying myself up until that moment when I got slapped in the face by the unfortunate translation. I must confess I stopped watching at that point and proceed to declare it so in this here review. This is a ‘partial review’ of a good series spoiled by an ignorant translator that injected it with venom.

Ps. To the translator... I am a grown person who can take this and more; but, think of the young ones, you prick!
