None of the humor and pace of season 1

I will note that part of what makes this drama boring is that for where I live, only one episode per day airs separated by a week...if it were really an engaging story I'd stick with it and not mind the wait for a next episode but when I realized I couldn't be bothered to do so, I had to admit that while it's cool to have nearly the same cast (I love the leads from their other works) , there is nothing to the story to hold your attention to want to see what happens next, and actually there is a heck of alot of inactive dialogue scenes that I suppose moves the story forward but you say to yourself, 'huh, so what?"
That said, Mysterious Lotus Casebook airing at this same time is super dialogue-detective analysis heavy but it works for its plotline and the mischevious acting of the leads. So, I can't recommend this second season unless you are such a diehard fan of season 1.

acting of female lead was extremely unbearable

the female lead's acting was so unbearable that ultimately i HAD to drop this series....like wth when she was trying to act cute all the time but turns out to be unbearabingly cringy.... dont take me wrong usually i dont even comment on bad acting but she is so annyoing that i HAD to express my frustation ryt now... i can tolerate almonst any series but i cant with her.
no hate though its her profession and she deserves to get the feedback i just commented on how she presented the character but that does not mean at all that i am hating the person herself.... hope you all understand... peace!

Okay so i am one of those few who totally enjoyed the first season. I thought the drama was so sweet and so fluffy. I had to take a short break and make a quick recap and watched the last episode of season 1 to jolt my memory.If you have not watched season 1 then i urge you to or else the drama won't make sense , well at least the 1st 2 episodes i have watched won't.
If you are going to watch season 1 then dont let how 'green' the cast is affect you. The faces are new (at least to me they were) and they kept on making mistakes and you could easily tell they have forgotten their lines or their gestures were too un-natural and exaggerated . Dont let it bother you.

Now back to season 2. I love how the drama is progressing. Who would have thought we would have 2 Mo Lian Chengs by the end of the episode 2. The 1st one looks like he is the past Cheng cheng before meeting our beauty. He comes up sitting with a pain he does not comprehend in his chest. I panicked there because that was a sign he does not recall going to the future and also meeting Tan'er otherwise he would not have been that calm. The 2nd one wakes up in modern clothing in Donghe again i assumed. Its going to be interesting and confusing and interesting again.
Now our beauty Qu Xiaotan wakes up in Donghe and she is the modern one with no recollection of the past in Donghe....i foresee a lot of comic relief when she approaches the prince in the hope that he will help him only to have him not recall her at all.

Seems like the writers did their homework well. I have a feeling its going to be a good one. I hope it proves my assumption wrong. Experience tells me 2nd seasons are a NO NO. I am yet to enjoy a season 2. A friend told me to watch ode to joy 1 and 2. She tells me its an exception to the season 2 rule. I hope this drama will be a 2nd exception. I have an inkling in my toes its going to be a good one. At least they retained the same cast. That alone gives me more hope.

Same sh*t, different day?

Same sh*t, different day.

The drama is repetitive and boring now. The show needs to add something new. It’s all the same characters, doing the same stupid things. It was good in season 1 but now it has just lost its sparkle. Characters don’t seem to learn from their mistakes and so the story is just becoming ABSURD. Some of the characters motives are weird and questionable too. All in all, not enjoying this season at all, it’s over the top, and not in a good way...


I get it’s a drama but we’ve seen this all before in last one. boring boring boring !!! ??

Political Drama That Happens to be a BL

Episode 1 is full of hard-hitting lines, most of which are political in nature. We can look forward for more political drama as the series progress.

OffGun never fail to impress and amuse the viewing public, with powerhouse cast that will surely leave you breathless. Their acting has evolved tremendously and their characterization speaks hardwork.

P'Nuchie has brought her directing prowess in the series and I applied her brand of film direction in a standard BL series. Nevertheless, she brought her own treatment to the templated BL series and made it cinematic.

The music has a right tone to it and gritty where it needs to be gritty. We look forward to hearing more of the soundtrack as the series progress.

But if you feel a bit lost in their conversation, there is a high chance that you will rewatch the series so you can mince every word of the character. With a more complex and technical script, you will surely find yourself watching the episode again.

Went downhill little to early just after 9th episode out of 24

Mess start at after 9 episodes and story went downhill from the point
Our ML even after 9 episodes remain robot which drives away FL from his house like a Idiot a brainless robot pretending to be some genius professor
they marriage lasted just 2 episodes what loser of a professor.

when we reach 13th episode professor started claiming FL as his property which belong to him
at end of episode 15 he turn into a coward from robot
after that i give up on this
7/10 for episodes until 9 and -3.5 for after that.....
so 3.5/10 is final rating this show deserve.

The worst series I've ever watched

I haven't watched such an ugly TV series lately. Maybe I've never watched it. I watched 15 episodes. All 15 of them are bad, worse than each other, meaningless, meaningless, impersonal, unfair, unfounded, insensitive, erroneous, wrong and inconsistent. So whatever you are looking for is in this series. There seems to be a story. From what I understand, the Prime Minister is saying that the prince whose daughter he was going to marry is dead, or he wants to have it killed himself. I didn't understand that. Then they say he died. Instead of his real daughter, he marries his daughter from his concubine to the dead prince. He wants his daughter to be buried with him, etc. The girl is running away. Then he meets the prince who is said to be dead. He is dressing his wound. It kind of saves. Then they realize that they are husband and wife, but the prince knows that the prime minister is against him, so he does not want the prime minister's daughter either. They also threaten the girl with her nanny. They say, "We'll kill your nanny and steal the prince's jade." Such events are developing. But it doesn't improve at all. First, the Prince says "I did not die in front of the king" and rips off the Prime Minister's hairpin, revealing his hair. This is kind of like a death sentence. He apologizes to the king, but the king doesn't even say what's going on, brother. The prince who did this walks away. Shouldn't the reason for this be asked? The prince supposedly has a crush on this prime minister and is looking for weaknesses in him. Drive the deficit. This time he wasn't letting the girl into his mansion. He felt sorry for his situation. He took it in. Even though the servants knew that she was a princess, they beat the princess at the instigation of the head maid. As if that wasn't enough. They locked it or something. They threatened. They committed all kinds of disgrace. The mansion has a butler. He has a lot of employees. Nobody knows or hears about it. The girl doesn't say either. It's as if he's accepting that his nanny will die. However, there are various aspects to this job. As a matter of fact, during the second fight, a servant gives the news, and she gives it so hard that you get swollen while watching it. Something like that. It's a complete disgrace. It takes courage to watch. This time our prince comes and beats the servants and drives them away, asking how you can beat the princess. However, except for the maid from the Shen mansion and the head maid. He gets the maid caned and sent to the Shen mansion. He says I will ask you about the head maid, take this away or something. Supposedly he will call to account. One episode later, you see this head maid wandering around. He defies the princess again. He is harassing. He's running out of words. This time they are interrogating him. He confesses everything. No one knows what happens to him after that. So why wasn't it done from the beginning? Then the stepmother who had these done appears. The Prime Minister supposedly does not interfere. But when he sees the result, he says oh good, kill him or something. They kill the girl's nanny. They are conspiring to kill the girl. They kidnap the girl. A festival for homes. The girl is already running away from the mansion on her own. We don't know why. Just like that. Something happens to him every time he escapes. No reason. Meaningless. Then they steal the jade from the hand of a traitor girl among the prince's soldiers. They give this to the prime minister's wife. It's unclear what they will do with it after stealing it. Supposedly they were going to use it against the prince. It's important for the prince, but I don't understand what it's important for them. They will probably save themselves with that jade. Will it ever be asked how you can save yourself with the jade you stole? As a matter of fact, their thefts never stopped. The prince went and raided the prime minister's house with the princess girl. He found the jade. He caned the Prime Minister's wife. They scolded the Prime Minister and returned home. If you could do this, why haven't you done it yet? Now they got the stick, but they continue to screw up. Nothing happens. Prince or king brother, this prime minister stole my jade. They kidnapped my wife. They beat me. They did it like this, there was no telling or punishing anything. Paso evil continues. They continue to watch. But there is no connection, no proper justification, reason, justification or logic in the events. The editing sucks. I mean, I don't know if it's because of the scriptwriter or if the director didn't convey it. It's a flawed series from start to finish. As I said, the prime minister, who did nothing, this time cooperates with the rebels of the opposing state and aims to kill the prince. So it helps. It supports. Likewise, his wife finds an acquaintance from the palace and makes a plan to inform the king that her stepdaughter, whom she married, is supposedly selling candy on the streets. Just a thought

Drama have a unexpected and unthinkable plot a unique one. Drama runs through a fast phase from the first episode. Yoo Seung-ho is really a out match actor his character fills alive in drama as all his drama fells female lead actor Hyeri is simple and basic in acting there is no aliveness in her character but her chemistry with Byeon Woo-Seok feels nice as compare with Yoo Seung-ho story line is great and intresting drama can hold its audience until the end. I would suggest the drama of Yoo Seung-ho Emperor the owner of mask for great chemistry and fantasy story line if you wanna watch drama that is based on joseon period. I can suggest this drama will show a twist in the end as the Chief Secretary is giving some different vibes and it will connect three off our lead characters together. Yoo Seung-ho has return after a long time hope this drama will go well.

I'm in love with Toki

When I started this drama, I was not hoping I would be hooked with this and would be dying out of waiting. Like many may think this is like Minato's Coin loundry and the dynamics are really same too as Sahara and Minato both were swimmers, both of their crushes came back etc. But the way Toki's character is, it makes a huge difference between THESE jbl and any other JBL and the side couple is also good. Usually in other dramas, those characters do not communicate until second last or last episode but in here, they do communicate and face problems together which is the main reason I love this.
About Acting:
I'm biased for Toki. The way he gets shy, happy, excited, sad, angry etc the actor does convey those feelings too well and I sometimes feel like why just I don't have a man like him in my life whom I will shower with all love.
Sahara gives me a vibe of that one cool brother who is wise, friendly and both are straightforward.
I'm sol ready with a box of tissues for next episode.

These actors and actresses are awesome. Lee Jong-suk why are you giving me these butterflies every time I'm watching your episodes. I can't stop watching it. I'm wishing you more and more projects to come. I love your role in here. A young man falls in love with an older than your age. This story has its own uniqueness. Its been always a reverse because I am married to 24 yrs older than my age. We are just the same age. We both born in 1989. You were September and I am December. I love watching you on screen because I fall in love with a man that has the most likely same personality as yours.

Fish Upon The Sky is a game changer in the bl world

We have always seen bls where a guy refuses to date another guy because he's straight or something, but this is different. Pi (Phuwintang) is not totally openly gay, but he admits that he has a crush on mueng nan (mix) who seems to have a thing with mork (pond) who has a thing for pi. This series has so much to unravel as it is not the same as all the series you have watched.

The cast choice for this is immaculate, pond and phuwin really fits well to each other. As well as louis and neo. Gmmtv picked a cast of rookies and actors who have been in the industry for years now. It is really worth watching.

I'm pretty sure this is one of the series that will get pretty close to 2gether's success. Pond and Phuwin will be one of the most famous couples.

Too long, too slow and too much information

Everyone was raving about the show so I gave it a chance.

I have to start saying I don't usually engage on watching shows that are this long and about ancient China, they kinda bore me. I think that 50 episodes is too much; I watched 10 and I was already bored, the story was moving too slowly for my taste and the relationship between the main characters was in one hand beautiful and poetic but in another hand to cold and lacking touch (probably because it is a chinese drama).
The characters have these powers and they kinda give me anxiety, like when they are fighting a villan I am almost shouting to the computer "Why don't you use the other power you have, will be more effective" and so on. And my final complain is that the show gives to much information: I was watching this with so much attention but at the same time there were so many clans and information being thrown.
