One critical problem.

I have a problem with this drama. Look, I loved the concept but one thing that falls apart is the very thing this series is revolving in: Nanno. Nanno is omniscient which makes everything so predictable. The only thing the omniscient Nanno was executed properly was on episode 2 which kind of needed Nanno to be omniscient. But as for everything else, I would have preferred it to have another leading character except for Nanno. Having Nanno makes everything so predictable, and instead of it being a mystery, this seems more like a documentary. Also, there are times that Nanno feels very... odd. She feels very different each episode, very inconsistent. I mean that could be a style, but I would have liked it better if each episode focused on a different girl character but with the same actress.

The concept of Nanno is so flawed that I would have wished her to be gone instead. *Sigh*

Acho que esse drama tinha muito potencial, muitos detalhes a ser explorado. O irmão da Mi ran, qual era a doença dele? o que o estudo criogênico influenciaria em pessoas como ele? O doutor não estava congelado? mas não vi ele testando em si mesmo o reagente para voltar a temperatura normal. Acho que faltou algo na história para chamar atenção dos espectadores mas o casal foi o que me manteve até a reta final, o personagem Ma Dong-Chan muito carismático, o jeitinho dele putz, chang wook atuou super bem e a atriz tbm. Se você quer ver um dorama leve e com personagens descontraídos e quer rir, vá em frente mas não espere muito da trama no quesito do projeto criônico.

Had me crying

This is my first review on MDL after watching 200+ dramas so sorry if this is short and awkward.

This drama had me hooked all the way through and I binged it within 3 days.
18 again definitely ranks in the top 10 dramas I've watched in terms of ability to captivate my attention.

The family dynamic and the hidden/unspoken feelings of the characters for each other reminded me of my own parents and everything they've sacrificed for me and my brother.
The script and acting made each and every emotion vividly clear and had be bawling at multiple points.

I also loved Lee Haneul and all of the acting in this drama was spectacular.

An amazing drama despite of

My first watch impression of the ending: I am not sure why I felt disappointed, I can pin down why I felt underwhelmed. Maybe because we didn’t get a dramatic kissing scene between leads or the climax and anticipation was awesome leading up to the last episode and it felt like an average happy ending to me.

Despite my first take on the ending I will still rate this drama a 10/10. It was an awesome watch each week, even though the plot has all the normal Kdrama tropes, I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. All the actors were amazing, I felt moved to anger, tears, sadness, silliness, & happiness in each of their scenes. I was part of their journey, and didn’t want to miss a thing. Now I am will solely focus on the Lovely Runner. My eyes will take a break from crying each weekend. Great job to the cast and crew!

The beginning of the show is well structured, and the tension is built. We have a taste of psychology between humans in the case of disaster, selfishness, their greed. Happiness shows how far people can go for their own happiness but at the same time, its value. All the characters have different visions of happiness and the way to reach it, for the main characters a simple life where the most important part is the people surrounding them. some ways are worst than others but all had the same goal of happiness.
The thing I like :
-Zombies, I enjoy zombies movie a lot and mostly because it exploited the subject of end of the word, where we can see the weakness of humans. Easly by fear, they do horrible choices and all the evolution in their mind that make them act horribly.
-the cast, they play perfectly and immerse us in the series.
- Characters, diverse roles, and archetypes are shown and exploited.
-The build-up, each element add until the middle of the show fit perfectly

The thing I didn't like
-The ending, how quickly done he looks. If the point of the drama was the race of happiness, the ending is neither moral nor complete. We don't see what happen to other character or how ex-zombies manage to enter society or the trauma of the victims.

Love only step brother love

I like the step brother love only, everyone like yong jie and he was the best so give him full marks, other couple I dislike not handsome at all ! So if someone hate them pls get lost ok, u are totally suck and please leave BL too ! Dont talk nonsense here. Yong jie and his brother love make me want to watch more and more, his brother was so soft and yong jie was scheming and cool, his acting was really good and I love the rxxx scene omg ! Recommend this 2 ❤ Mostly I like the guy who are brave to go for his love not like coward everything also hard to confess with his true feeling, in chinese online site, everyone love yong jie and his brother ❤ keep going ?

SK HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!

s korea you have raised the bar so high, i feel bad for those who have this as their first BL drama cause it's gonna be so hard to find anything that goes higher.

characters:
ive never read the manwha that goes alongside this LA, but i really fell in love with all of the characters. this could be the fact i am weak for park seoham, but regardless i think both leads played incredibly. the chemistry was there for sure!

acting:
considering this is park seoham's first drama since leaving knk, i think he's done an incredible job of getting himself and his name out there through semantic error. the acting was so realistic and it didnt seem forced or awkward. park jaechan also played sangchu super well, and considering he's only 20, i think he's soon to star in more shows.

music:
THE OST BANGS! PERIOD!

story:
i dont know the story too well myself (again, havent read the manwha) but despite the fact that they had to cram a lot of chapters into only 8 25minute-ish episodes, i think the story progresses well. nothing feels rushed, forced or like theyre trying to get as much content into the episodes as possible, and sangwoo and jaeyoung's relationship and how it develops feels natural. im a sucker for enemies to lovers, so if you are too, definitely give this a watch.

overall:
i haven't loved a k-BL as much as this since 나의 별에게(to my star). i can definitely see myself rewatching this multiple times, and i definitely recommend it to anyone who's interested. im glad sk is finally jumping on the bandwagon of longer episodes, i would love to see a full scale BL k-drama with 45 minute episodes and a full ost.

(TR) Sırf oyuncular için başladığım bir diziydi ama konusu çok ilgi çekiciydi . Sonu kesinlikle şaşırtıcıydı. Ah bir de oyunculuklar yok mu vuruldum resmen. Zaten Song Joong Ki'nin oyunculuğuna birazcık aşinaydım ama burada bambaşka bir karakter oynamış. Hele Ok Taec Yeon'a ne demeli, hayran kaldım resmen. Bu dizinin drama sektörüne çook kişiler kazandıracağını düşünüyorum çünkü oyuncu ekibi harikaydı!! Senarist ve yönetmene hiç bir şey demiyorum zaten harika iş çıkarmışlar. Umarım tekrar yeni projelerde çalışırlar. Sonuç olarak:
Romantik-intikam arayanlara önerebileceğim bir dizi değil ama içinde sevimli anlar olsun,aynı zamanda da zekice işlenen planlar olsun bunu da öyle bir çeksinler ki parmaklarım yorulsun ekran görüntüsü almaktan diyorsanız tam olarak bu diziyi izlemek istiyorsunuz demektir. bye haein and hyunwoo

After analyzing my existence, I am aware of the inconsistencies that there were within the drama but in retrospect it really didn’t take that much importance when giving this final review bc I genuinely enjoyed watching it and I will really miss it?

Really, the heart of the drama lies with haein and hyunwoo?
Seeing how they grow as people, noticing their mistakes and wanting to change so they don't make it again, is simply beautiful. I lived every moment of their story as if they were people from my social circle jajaja??, I guess that is the acting power of soohyun and jiwon who transmitted to us every emotion and feeling of the characters?✨

(on the other hand, applause for sunghoon??who made me hate him every saturdays and sundays haha)

I thank all the people who were behind the creation of this dram, they made me very happy (i will rewatching it when I need that comfort that Haerin and Hyunwoo can only give me)???✨

I don't usually watch cdrama but this particular drama caught my attention. They have a strong introduction story. I felt like the love story became too fast paced, but after all the revelations you would understand why they acted that way.

Xu Kai Cheng is perfect for the role. He portrayed LingBoss like he's really the boss. He had justified whatever actions he did.

The main girl is just fine but sometime she kind of over reacts to the point that you'll know that she is just acting. especially on some kissing scenes she looks awkward about it.

The amnesia line is uncalled for, it's the weakest point of the story and they overdid the kidnapping scene. but nonetheless I still give 2 thumbs up for this drama.

I'll rewatch it for sure ????

I don’t really watch Chinese Dramas
But this one was a beautiful one it had a lil of everything in there !!
I really enjoyed it
The acting was good each actor played their role Perfectly . First time seen those actors as well Nd i was amazing to see their good acting skills
I highly recommend this Drama for people that likes romance!!!
I’ll be waiting for Season 2

Fiquei muito surpresa e satisfeita com a atuação da Nana. A história só não tem um final perfeito porque todo mundo quer um romance e um happy ending. Tudo foi bem fechado no drama, tudo perfeitamente explicado. As cenas de ação foram maravilhosas. O Número 88 estava perfeito. Ele conquista qualquer um com o jeito dele, mas tenho um fraco por caras misteriosos. Ele morrer no final era previsível, se não fosse assim teria sido puro fan service. Mas que eu chorei, chorei horrores. Aliás, a Nana chorando foi de matar e ele segurando a mão dela, cara, muito triste. Mas vida que segue. Gostei muito do drama.

If voice has memory is (light) romance drama actually is not my cup of tea, but since mei ye as fl so I watched it, for male lead people say that’s miles wei is popular what I want to say thanks to male lead, thank you for taking care mei ye during filming, I saw all behind the scenes miles wei look comfortable with her, playing and teased each other like friends pan mei ye is mood maker, she always cheerful and active, people around her will get positive vibe because of her
but what make me disappointed is the way team “if voice has memory” especially the one who managed weibo account is clearly being biased and did dirty to pan mei ye,the way team rarely posted and promoted pan mei ye in their account like she isn’t their heroine (female lead) as I know usually female lead will get more spotlight in promotion but they mostly posted only for Male lead, like solo poster, GIFs, vlog solo behind the scene etc,I can count pan mei ye’s poster just with one hand, I think all pan mei ye’s fans noticed it, but we just silent since mei ye is rooki actor, and its weird that main actors didn’t have Interview promotion, anyone can answer this ? at least for one but miles wei and mei ye didn’t get one.
and the funniest thing is some people (from Male lead fans) attacked mei ye for her style in if voice has memory they called my baby girl u*ly, when actually her style in drama is just Yu Luxi’s character not real her, people need to learn which one real which one fiction, pan mei ye is pretty and beautiful girl and people need to know that dragged someone for physic is racist and low behavior, this drama supposed to be our happiness but team and toxic fans ruined it.
Over all I rate this drama 7,5/10 not really satisfied but still grateful for pan mei ye and miles wei

SO SO BAD ... you want to cry

OMG, GagaOOlala, don't do that anymore ... This BL drama was so dumb, so vulgar, I think we've reached the bottom of the genre... In fact, it's a porn movie scenario without the sex part: a little gigolo, not even handsome, chubby, with two false teeth on his front, coming from 'a broken family, responds to the ad of a gay old man looking for a "servant" ... he is hired and of course, they have sex on the first day ... Arrives the son of the man, young and pretty cute, the man goes on a business trip and needless to say, the son and the servant sleep together the same evening and fall madly in love with each other ?... It's not a fairy tale but a nightmare. It's very badly played, it's ridiculous, it's so stupid you want to cry. We know that Pinoy BL/gay films are not subtle, but with this one, one can't do worse...
What a disappointment Gaga! You have accustomed us to funny, subtle, sexy Japanese, Taiwanese or Thai series ...

2021 Best Survival K-Drama!

There are many survival K-Dramas in 2021. But, trust me. This one is the best in every aspect while the others are overhyped ones. If you are looking for the best survival drama, watch this! Never watch overhyped drama! Trust MDL's ratings more than Koran television's ratings.

I've always been a fan of survival K-dramas. I want to see how the plot goes and how the writers give problem solutions to the conflicts in the plot.

So, as always, I'll just give you the summary.

Pros:
- It gives you an eerie atmosphere in every episode. Less talk, more atmosphere!
- No cringey lovey-dovey romance! Both (male lead & female lead) are focusing more on surviving and helping others than having a blooming love relationship.
- The plot is easy to understand, but it still gives you puzzles. Who is who, who did this and that, who will die, etc.
- This drama has plenty of characters/villains but they are really easy to be remembered.
- No sex scenes. Safe to be watched together with family (not for kids)!
- THE FEMALE MAIN LEAD IS STRONG, COOL, HEROIC, BADASS, NO CRY BABY, AIN'T SCAREDY-CAT. The writer(s) did justice to the female main lead in this drama, unlike in other action K-dramas where females always are the ones who have to be protected by males. This is what makes me score 10/10 ratings on MDL. I'm a male btw. I'm starting being a fan of Han Hyojoo <3
- No jumpscares and not that scary. Heart-friendly.
- Top-tier character developments: A kind-hearted person can be evil and vice-versa because of life-hanging conditions.
- The plot hole is there but it's almost invisible. Thanks to the scary atmosphere and the character's actions. You won't have enough time to think about the hole. You will spend your time reading the plot flow and thinking which character is likely to be alive, where is the antagonist.
- The plot twist is not that big, but it's there to surprise you.
- It portrays the daily life of metropolitan Korean families (kinda).
- This drama won't waste your precious seconds. The plot is solid and won't make you bored. Unlike other dramas where the talking scenes take longer than they should be, Happiness put the talking scenes to the nice timing with a good proportion.
- and many more I forgot what to write. I'll add them once I remember.

Cons:
- Only 12 episodes and this is a big deal.
- Needs more OSTs.
I think these cons have something to do with sponsorship. If I don't see Samsung in a drama, I assume the drama doesn't get enough $$.
