After I've watched the 1st episode I couldnt wait to watch the rest & I cant wait to see the ending because I have NO idea how it's going to end.
If I were to pick a drama by the title, this drama wouldn't be my first choice. I think, BIG is not something that attracts people.
-The cast is really good. You can really feel with the characters.
Gong Yoo is doing an awsome job of portrating a guy with mental age of 18 that is stuck in a body of a 30 something years old. At first I didn't like that he's the lead male, but after I watched a few more episodes I couldn't ask for a better one. His acting is really hilarious and matches the one of 18 year old. It's my first time watching him in a drama and I'll deff watch more dramas with him.
-Shin Won Ho. I really fell in love with him after episode one. He really caugh my attention with his acting and I was really disappointed when I realized I wont be seeing him in the drama more. He was really convincing & gave of that cool feeling. Even tho he kinda acts tough on the outside, from his acting, we can see that Kang Kyung Joon is actually scared on the inside. I really want to see him in more dramas as a lead actor.
-Min Jung is playing a teacher that is, in my opinion, really in love with Yoon Jae. SHe's really dense because, she's blinded by her love that doesnt realize that Seo Yoon wasn't faithful. We can clearly see that he has something goin on with that doctor, SeYoung. In my opinion, when he went to see her in ep 1, he was going to tell her that he was leaving her. Min Jung is, I think really suited for the character, and even though many wanted Suzy to be the main, I think Min Jung is better for this part.
-Suzy, well, she's I think Kyung Joon's girlfriend back in America. I don't quite get what happened between them so he doesn't want to see her. I think Suzy's cahracter is really funny in the drama and suits her really well. It's annoying at times but gives a refreshing string to the drama. Somewhat, remindes me of Go Hye Mi in Dream High.
-The rest of the cast is really good too. I like Gil Da Ra's brother, he's really funny, and I liked the way he flirted with MaRi:P The parents, I like them too, but I think in every drama that I've watched so far, the mother is always goofy and funny while the dad is more serious :P
Music is okay, ballads mostly, it's enjoying. It's not something I would listen to everyday, but I really liked the OSTs. Esp the BEAST one. It matches the story.
Re-watch value. Well, I don't usually re-watch dramas no matter how good they are. But yeah, it's something that I would watch after sometime. Well, maybe not the whole episodes but the parts that really left impressions on me. It gives a good laugh in every episode, no exeptions.
Over all, I give it a 9. Everything is put together nicely. It very enterteining and something that you should DEFFINAELY watch no matter what age you are.

At the beginning I was surprised about the stupidity of Pal Gang, that actually was very funny, but she started to grow up and it was interesting to watch how that happened.
This drama shows how hard life can become, but if you don't give up, you can get through everything. The strengh of people in this drama is amazing.
Some parts of this drama were very sad, some made me angry, but in some ways the story of this drama seems perfect. It's innocent, yet somehow naughty, but in a very pure way. It's stupid, yet genius. The romance is passionate and nice. From this drama you can learn a lot.

Each episode deals with a different case, and there isn't really much of a multi-episode arc. It's fun to watch Joseon-era crime solving techniques. Now, whether or not those are true to the period, I don't know, but it was good, old fashion sleuthing. A couple of cases seemed similar, but they were different enough to be entertaining. One case, though, actually gave me nightmares the night I watched because the culprit was especially creepy and calculating.
There are also plenty of laughs, and a hint of romance in the drama. Not much, but it's there.
The cast was great. Everything was well acted. Creepers were creepy, entitled jerks acted like douchebags, and rarely did tears seemed forced.
The only song I remember (intro and outro) did start to get on my nerves around the 5th episode, though.

People who want to have action and an amazing story which is not really connected to the world where we live will be disappointed.
However I loved how realistic it was. From beginning to end I was excited, shocked and realised that just little things can change a whole matter, your whole life, your character and surrounding.
This drama has a really good ending.
The acting was amazing.
The music fits really good.
... and I will rewatch it to unterstand it better.
Money can drive people crazy and these nine episodes are the proof.

Since this was my first T-drama, I didn't know any of the actors from beforehand. To me, this drama was depended more on its story than on the acting. At times, I felt that Aaron Yan's acting was slightly emotionless. Despite this, I think that all of the actors involved did an decent job portraying their characters. I felt that with the actors, there was an authenticity in conveying emotion which I think sometimes is hard to do.
It is not one of those dramas where you have to watch the episodes in order to understand the story. That is because each episode deals with a character as a central focus. Keep in mind, there are a couple of episodes bind together due to the characters that are involved. To understand Du's (Death Girl) motive for everything, you have to watch in order.
I can see myself watching this drama in the future.
Even though i can't identity the music, it made the drama that much better. The music parallels to the emotion of the characters. Sometimes there are turns within the music that lead me on but did the opposite of my expectations. I loved how the natural sounds within the filming locale are used to the drama's advantage.
This drama puts a focus on real life issues. After watching each episode, I wanted to watch the next. It focuses on the "Why" the characters resort to drastic measures. The drama also points out how the characters' choices are up to them not fate, and how their choices have a domino effect on the other characters.
I really liked that near the end, they gave us the backstory to Du. However, in the story featuring Du Ji, I felt that there was something missing. I think it's because his story was left with a couple loose ends. I was pleasantly surprised by the ending of the drama. This is not because of what happens but more of how everything comes full circle.
All in all, I thought that this was a very good drama. All of the expectations that I had when I started this went out the window after the first episode. And this drama left me wanting more.

Story- It’s about loss, finding love through that loss, and forgiveness. Really well written in that, the writers managed to balance the love-lines and boxing theme. There wasn’t a single episode where I felt bored and the episodes flew by fast. There were some things that I didn’t like about the story though. This includes all the scenes involving the CF President (obsessed with the female lead character) and also all the angst in the second half of the drama. I really really wish they had only a few episodes where the main female character can’t forgive the male lead character. You have to make it through to the very end before forgiveness/reconciliation occurs. The ending wasn’t bad but it was kind of disappointing for what the writers made us go through with all that angst.
Acting/Characters- Shin Min Ah was perfect and her character development was interesting. She starts out as a likable character but halfway through her character changes physically and emotionally, and not for the better. And Can I just say how awesome Joo Jin Mo is?! He is a versatile and phenomenal actor. I’ve seen him in so many things and this character is just so different and out of the box for him. I seriously loved his character because you could tell he loved the main female so much and my heart kept breaking for him during all the scenes the main female character showed her hatred for him. The other main male actor (who seriously is no rival) was just awful. His lack of acting skills and the fact that the writers made his character so unlikable just made his scenes (unfortunately he has a lot) unbearable to watch. His character wasn’t even that evil but he had no redeeming qualities and I had no sympathy for him at all. I mean he doesn’t even give up the female lead till the very end! He is pathetic and just a worthless character who didn’t offer anything to the drama. On a different note, the supporting cast was perfect. I liked that the writers gave the supporting cast prominent roles and I enjoyed the love triangles of the female lead’s 2 female friends.
Music- Matching angsty music but also has Christina Augielera’s “Stronger” as a running theme which matches the boxing theme of the show.
Rewatch- I am going to rewatch this cause the acting was really good but not for a couple years cause of the high angst.
Overall Punch plays like an extended top quality sports movie. Whether you like sports themed dramas or not you will be able to watch this. Your enjoyment of the drama might dwindle towards the last quarter though, because the female lead character becomes really unlikable and there are misunderstandings and too much angst!

So I rated this movie so high because I really wasn't expecting to like it, but by the end I was bawling like a baby, and any film that can do that is a good one in my books.

I adore Jang Geun Suk and I was really looking forward to this movie. And I usually try hard not to compare remakes to originals, so that I can better appreciate each one on their own merit. But this movie was an absolute mess.
Sometimes a movie/drama is vastly different from the original source material and I'm glad of it - Paradise Kiss is one example. Didn't like the original story, loved the movie (just my opinion, don't slay me). But You're My Pet is not one of those situations. The manga is awesome. The Jdrama was great, even though it didn't feel complete. The movie? Totally lost sight of the original story and the motivation behind the characters' behavior. It was shallow, trite, and farcical.
I know there's only so much that can be done in the short time given to a movie, and that was part of the problem. If there was going to be a Korean remake of this manga, it should've been a drama, not a movie. I think, given a different writer and director, the same actors could've done a much better job in a drama setting where the story and the characters could've been fleshed out and so much important stuff wouldn't have to be skipped for the sake of time. So I don't blame JGS or Kim Ha Neul, I blame the writer and director and whoever thought it was better to make a movie and not a drama.

I only had 2 real issues with this drama. The dad slapping Cheng Xiao Shi was one. Not acceptable. I realize this is a different country with different values, etc, but slapping is never okay - well, unless it's the lead female slapping the b*tch ex-girlfriend...I digress. Seriously, though, the scene made it seem like this was acceptable behavior, for a father to slap his GROWN daughter just because she stayed out late and worried her parents. And he didn't apologize, and she took it as an acceptable form of reprimand and groveled her apologies.....Nope. NOT OKAY.
The second problem I had was He Qun's continuous verbal abuse towards the Cheng Xiao Shi. I don't care if it was supposed to be teasing, or that we were supposed to understand that their bickering was their way of expressing love...it was excessive. Teasing or not, calling someone stupid or an idiot ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME goes beyond playful bickering into verbal abuse territory. No matter how understanding a girl's personality is, eventually she's going to start wondering if he really means it. If it had just been once or twice in the beginning - that I could understand because their relationship wasn't on good terms. But later, once they were officially together, it grew old, fast. I couldn't even really enjoy the ending because their cute and/or sweet moments were just too few and far between compared to the bickering and putting down.
