Boys Over Flowers: 10 Years On La historia se centra en Go Eun Bi, una estudiante de primer año de medicina que ama los musicales, siendo su más grande sueño protagonizar alguno tal como su actriz favorita y más grande inspiración Bae Kang Hee. Sin embargo, a pesar de ser una gran estudiante, carece del talento suficiente como para ser aceptada en las decenas de castings a los que ha asistido.
Sabiendo que tendrá la desaprobación de su familia, decide arriesgarse y probar suerte un año, haciendo a un lado la universidad y enfocándose en su verdadero sueño. Es entonces cuando conoce a Sa Bok Ja, una actriz promedio que con tal de ganar cobijo y alimentos gratis se hace pasar por su maestra. Pero Go Eun Bi no solo la conoce a ella sino también a Hong Jae Ji, un escritor bastante exitoso que se había retirado de los musicales hasta su llegada, despertando en él una nueva ilusión.

When the characters were actually working on the musical it was very interesting. Then somewhere in the middle the story took several directions. Towards the end it became just very dramatic and there was no focus on musicals. I actually forgot that this drama was called the Musical just because there wasnt that much music. I didn't watch the end but heard it was rushed so I'll probably just read a recap. Still though for most of the time the story kept my interest.
I think the casting was perfect...except for Ko Hye Sun. I think what brought the quality down was her poor singing voice. Also, her character development was poorly written so that plus her awful voice just made it hard to want to root for her. Daniel Choi was perfect in his role. I did like all the supporting characters.
The music was memorable but nothing I'd want to listen to outside the show.
I'm not sure If Id rewatch this or not.
Overall if this drama was written better and casted with a better female lead it would have left a lasting impression but since thats not the case I'd just rate it as being average but worth watching once.

I thought this drama was really loving and sweet. I like it a lot. Sure it needed a few things to make it better but it wasn't bad. I'm glad I watched this drama. I enjoyed watching it very much.
