Anyone excited about this? I'm actually pretty sad since I pretty much grew up on Harry Potter. Anyhow, the movie comes out on July 15th.
I am, I swore I wouldn't watch the first part till the 2nd part was out, and I did Friday night..
İ'm also excited and its like Skye said: We grew up with it.
İ hope İ'll find cinema with subs.
İ'll die if İ hear the same vioce actor for Ron again. He can't speak out the Ks and Rs.
YAY can't wait till part 2!
I agree on the grewing up part and being sad because it's the last movie.
I am a great fan of the book, and conveyed all my sadness for its ending into the last lines of it. The movie is an added bonus, but although I already know how it's going to end I'm thrilled and looking forward to it. :D
I love the books and the movies. Kind of a geek about them but not so I dress in costume or anything. Just a big fan. I thought part 1 of Deathly Hallows was the best movie yet and am anticipating the final. It's going to be a little strange when it's all over. I love how the books and in turn, the movies got progressively darker and more complex as the characters in the books grew up and the story advanced to it's conclusion. I think JK Rowling was smart to have the books grow with the readers. Fun Series. The movies were done well for adaptations of pretty detailed and involved books.
I was way more excited about the books when they came out than the films. For example, the last three books I went to buy the day they were released in English (and then finished them in a few days :D). The films then - they've been okay so far though I have to admit that I haven't even seen the Half-Blood Prince or the first part of Deathly Hallows yet... (So I don't know if I have the right to take part in this conversation :P)

Anyway, I just somehow lost interest in the film adaptations. Plus, everything gets so dark in the last books that I haven't been so eager to actually see all that angst and sorrow and loss. (Don't get me wrong here, as you said, the story grew with Harry and us and that's its strong point.) But I plan to watch all the films someday so maybe I should catch up now and even go to the cinema for the last one. :)

My family and I loved the books and I could even remember the first time we went together to watch HP and the Sorcerer's Stone at the mall near us. I'm excited to see the movie! Not only because HP being a part of my life, but also it would be a chance for my family to go out together after so many years! Hehe~ I'm so excited to see it even though I don't want it to end. I think I'll cry at the end of HP7 part 2. :)
oh yes !! ... even though i haven't watch the last two movies of harry porter.. i am still excited... My husband doesn't like Harry porter so since i got married to him and both movies came out after i was married i never got a chance to watch it with him or any harry porter fan friend or cousins :( i was really busy then .. So, i still have to watch other two but am waiting for the last one to b out and then i will watch all together :D.. LOVE HARRY PORTER ! :) and may b one day i will read the books ... i either read books or watch adaptation of them ... i realized that when i read a book and watch the adaptation of it, i always compare the two and most of the time book wins.. so i never wanted to ruin my excitement and fun by reading the series :) ...

So very true. That being said I haven't even read the last Harry Potter book, though i might read it after I watch the final movie.
Oh and is anyone planning on rewatching the first part of the movie the day before the second part comes out, and then watching the second part in theaters at midnight? I think im going to do that.
