My daughter had me watch the Korean "You're beautiful" and I was hooked. We watched more of Jang Guen Suk's work. We were laughing, crying and shipping couples. She likes a happy ending, and will stop watching to keep a story that way. I have to see how the writer ends it, and it better be a good one. She learned Hangul, so I also appreciate her clarification of the translation, and teaching me about their culture.
I also like to crochet, so was delighted to find a Korean Drama List on Ravelry. That's where I learned about this site, which showed me how many hours I spend watching dramas -- not crocheting.(!) But I still enjoy the time spent with my daughter. (And I learn more from the group on Ravelry.)
