Sviluppo troppo lento

Andava persino all'indietro.

The Music Score really sets the mood to the scenes. Though the storyline seem similar with other dramas, but I still find their take on it a bit different and quite refreshing. I don’t really cry a lot while watching any series but this one gave me tears from the first episode to the last. I guess that’s how the story is so relatable. The actors seem to have done well portraying how their characters have been written though i find the main male protagonist a bit lacking facial expressions.
After watching the series I was unable to appreciate any kdrama or lakorn for about a week because nothing seems to compare to it. But I’m still thinking if I would watch it again later on. It brought out a lot of emotions which am personally not comfortable with. I sincerely really enjoyed watching it the first time though.

Black Dog

Black Dog did a great job tackling and depicting the working of the school system without over-exaggerating them. The drama showed the many problems facing the South Korean education system and did a great job setting up the social context of the profession, especially from the perspective of beginning teachers. It tackled everything from nepotism, to temp workers social stigma, to teacher/student discrimination (top students vs. average), and the cutthroat and competitive atmosphere between teachers who do not always work for the students but rather to better themselves. It even addressed the fact that a school is really an organization and a rigid one at it but that there will always be people such as Go Ha Neul and the College Advisory Department who are willing to take that extra step to change the status quo.

All the actors did a wonderful job -- but especially our College Advisory Department We got to see Go Ha Neul (Seo Hyun Jin) try to break down and tackle that rigidness and succeeding in making a dent including witnessing her journey from a beginner teacher to her growth not just as a teacher but as a person who impacted the lives of students and teachers alike, making them better people (students) and teachers. All with the help and direction of Park Sung Soon (Ra Mi Ran), the head of the career counseling department at the school, Do Yeon Woo (Ha Joon), a Korean language teacher, and Bae Myung Soo (Lee Chang Hoon), the Biology teacher -- all of whom impacted each others' lives in ways they never expected.

In the end, the real message of the story was to never give up and as hard as change maybe it is not impossible. As the saying goes you can't build an adaptable organization without adaptable people--and individuals change only when they have to, or when they want to. Beautifully done, sorry to see it end. I will miss it and highly recommend it.

This is my favorite Korean drama of all time. I only watched room 709's storyline, so this review will be for that. It was so beautiful to see their relationship blossom into love, and how it created conflicts between the two. The ending made me BAWL my eyes out. Yes, it was that sad and I really loved it. I didn't watch any other room's story, so this isn't a total review on the whole show, but on one storyline. If you are into basic BL with no kissing, I recommend room 709 in The Lover. That whole thing shaped BL in Korea and I have to give all my respect to both of those actors. Even though there is no kiss, it has an amazing story and to be honest doesn't even need a kiss. It just shows the relationship between Joonjae and Takuya. Takuya is a very friendly person who moved into this shared apartment with Joonjae, after coming from Japan. There are funny little interactions between them and even a sexual one? Yeah, it's confusing to explain. But, later Joonjae starts feeling things from this attractive, cute, and funny Japanese man. That's where it all goes downhill. Joonjae is actually dating someone and has been the entire storyline. Joonjae and his girlfriend have a fight, the girlfriend figuring out Joonjae has feelings for Takuya. *Here is a little insight on how he realized his feelings. Takuya invited a friend he had in Korea, but Joonjae becomes very jealous, ending him up to lock himself in the bathroom, throwing all of the items on the counter, off.* Takuya has always had feelings for Joonjae as well, but as we all know, Korea isn't a big fan of gay people. So, Takuya decides it's best off if he leaves Korea all together and goes back to Japan, thinking his crush on Joonjae will stop. This is where I then cry because the screen goes black and I thought that's where it ends. I then went to the comments to only found out there is more. I press play. It turns out someone is knocking on Takuya's door, remember he is in Japan. He opens to door to see Joonjae with luggage by his side saying, "Good afternoon, my name is Joonjae. I came," in Japanese. He basically reenacts the entire scene where Joonjae and Takuya first met (which I think is so beautiful). If you can't tell, I love this storyline so much, and I do recommend to watch every storyline, but The Lover is more known for this beautiful BL part. I have watched many BL, even ones with many kisses and ending up together, but I love how this BL shows the side of being judged for your sexuality and the build-up of a relationship. Overall, this will maintain is my favorite BL drama, even though it isn't even the main focus.

A fantastic commentary on human behaviour, but the series is not for everyone

The drama has rave reviews and high ratings and that is for a good reason. It's a well-made drama based on a solid plot line. It will resonate with a post-covid audience on random governmental controls and lockdowns as well as human greed and power plays. Every episode keeps you on the edge, and not a single scene is predictable or boring.

But everyone probably knows this all by now from reviews and word of mouth. On the negative side, honestly, I struggled to finish the series - I had to take long breaks in between episodes and had to watch happy/feel-good series before being ready to come back to Happiness. The title conveys how difficult it is to find happiness in our day-to-day lives, and the series' plot line is also like that. Happy moments are rare; when they do come, it is refreshing. But it's so, so rare amidst all the conflict and chaos.

When you do manage to finish the series, it's all worthwhile as it is a happy ending. But the journey to get there is filled with fear, anxiety, worry and disgust, probably quite an accurate reflection on human behaviour around the pandemic.

An Error That Can't Be Solved!!

Semantic Error would be a new mark in Korean BL drama history and one of the best ever BL i have ever watched after WYEL and To My Star. It literally screams how opposite personalities attract each other.

About the few things i liked about this series is -
the period of time was really different this time. usually BL dramas (such as To my star, The Tasty Florida, Kissable Lips and so on) have a storytime of 10/12 min per ep but this time it has 25 mins and i was astonished to see how good the character and the atmosphere was portrayed. nothing felt too long or too short. I really wanted this kind of production and i hope in future there will be more dramas like this

second of all, I am surprised how good the acting quality is. Dongkiz's Jaechan did a decent acting which really suited the character, Chu Sangwoo who is cold and analytical. KNK Seoham also portrayed the playful character of Jung Jaeyoung. Moreover both Seoham and Jaechan are new in BL kdrama industry so it was really good to see the chemistry they had between them onset and off set. i love them both equally and their interactions were pleasing to watch.

about the ost, i have no objection like it doesn't suit the drama because it does! i listened to the osts in YouTube and tbh it felt better in the drama. so like in one word the ost and the drama blended so well.

I would say that definitely watch it. you can read the webtoon of same name. The drama adaption is slightly changed since we know how conservative korean society can be. But this is a big milestone in BL. I am glad many idols are coming forward about LGBT and supporting these dramas. Definitely 10000/10 drama.

My routine is to wait until the series finished airing before I start to watch. But this series changed my routine. I watch it every friday and wait till next week.

The acting of the character are well delivered and natural. I love how Sarawat express his love to tine I think some says it is overrated but for me its not. It deserve its high rating as we can see its always trending on twitter every friday.

And I am shocked when I heard that it is the first series of Win. But the way he acts are so natural like he’s been in the showbiz industry for so long.

BEST BL SERIES for me AS OF NOW.

More sadness than happiness but only until episode 11

I was terrified that the story didn't have a happy ending and an endgame, as it didn't have romance as one of the genres, and all dramas I know don't have romance as one of the themes but have a man and a woman as protagonists. , none had an endgame. But luckily everything went more than right.

I only have two things to complain about: as much as you can understand that the other characters who were good also had a happy ending, I missed actually showing where their lives took. And another detail that I missed was showing how their process was able to cure the disease.

Other than that, I loved that Saebom and Yihyun were saved together and happy because that's really what they deserved for having such a beautiful heart.

I'm grateful to everyone involved for giving us an amazing story, but especially to Park Hyung Sik and Han Hyo Joo for playing the role of Yihyun and the role of Saebom - two iconic and landmark characters.

It was more sadness and anger than happiness in 11 episodes. But in the last episode, happiness came as abundant as we've always wanted.

Overall I enjoyed this drama very much. Specially till 13th or 14th episodes it was very interesting for me. Acting , story music and plot are average . Nothing excited but its so sweet and super cute in some ways . Definitely its a watchable drama . I went marathon on first 12 episodes. Even though it has many flaws I really enjoyed the romance between them. Its a rich man poor girl drama with same villain girl, parents issues , childhood unpleasant memories and second male syndrome . But ML is not arrogant like other dramas . He is kind and lovable from the beginning to the end. And yes he is type of a man who every woman dreaming and this is a sinderella type drama . Main couple acting is not so natural but definitely so beautiful. Most of the time they have same facial expression but some how they express cute and sweetness to us and they didnt disappoint us.

I loved this drama, however, it is not the greatest drama that I've ever seen. The story is set up to be equally funny and sad, considering that he is a straight guy pretending to be gay in order to live with a woman. The gay misunderstanding is very funny at times, the plot lines involving her family are interesting and their relationship is convincing. However, there are some boring parts, some wandering story lines and there is a lot of immature shouting. However, I loved it, really enjoyed the bits of real life that they threw in. I recommend this drama if you haven't watched a drama/classic romance drama in awhile. If you've just seen Full House, Secret Garden, etc, you might find this boring.
